They're prolly hecho en mexico strats. Classic strats are a totally different story, especially if you have the frets, hardware, and pickups custom installed.
well, I'm not here to try and change your mind about that MD. But I'm still trying to understand why people think countries need a religion in order to be successful. Some of the most heinous atrocities have been perpetrated by theocracies. But that's okay I guess, because "god" is on their side.
There's no guarantee that the pic they do have is genuine. At least people are being somewhat honest in not having a pic. It says that they're not comfortable having one, for whatever reason.
Oh, yeah. Red Elk. The guy who can levitate but only when people aren't looking, and the guy who says giants and elves and "rock-swimmers" (whatever the F they are) live underground. Real credible source there, if you're looking to score some peyote.
That's why it's pretty obvious to me that it was written by humans for humans. Make it obscure enough and you have a whole industry created to "interpret" it for us ignorant laymen.
I believe God is not with me, just like the tooth-fairy is not with me, or the invisible pink unicorn. I believe I am responsible for my own actions. I don't use God as a scapegoat for the bad or the good. I believe both are human inventions and God is a convenient justification for more atrocity than has ever been perpetrated in the name of anything else under the sun.
Do I believe God is with us all? No. But I believe delusion of one form or another is entirely too universal.
I believe when people face up to the fact that its all them, then something constructive can be achieved. Until then, people will ramble on and on about how their prayers have been answered, but ultimately, their success, and their failure, is entirely their own doing, and until they stop looking outward for their answers, and start looking inward, Plato's axiom will be eternal.
To paraphrase: "Only the dead have seen the end of empty argument."
Atheism does not imply a lack of morality or spiritual depth. I for the life of me never understand why "religious" people insist that this is the case. And I'm not targeting any specific theistic sect when I say this. Hypocrisy doesn't play favorites. And haters have absolutely no need for a rational explanation as to why they think they're better than non-believers (or believers if you're an atheist that hates.)
As a first try, one of the important concepts of buddhism is ku ke & chu. ku is the invisible, ke is the visible and chu exhibits both invisible and visible but are neither.
the human spirit and passion is invisible, our body language is visible, and the thinking mind exhibits qualities of both visible and invisible but is neither.
All three aspects are concurrent and mutually present in our daily life and more specially important if we play a leadership role in society or in business. -
Chu is the middle way. Ego is manifest. Spirit is Implicit. Only by living the middle path of chu between ego and spirit can we have any effect or bring any lasting value to the world of the manifest.
Or as the Sufi say, "Be in this world, but not of this world."
This is regarding personal happiness, star. Everyone has free will as dusty said, but you can either choose to create value, or you can choose to destroy value.
I know you're just kidding around man. I love you anyway.
