What is the difference between your journals by definition you have given, which document papers that have passed peer review...
...And the origional documented papers, written by the apostles, documents taken from the Cannons of the Kings, documents recording the words of the prophets of God, which have passed peer review and were compiled into a book which is now called the "Holy Bible". There is much more documentation than what is contained in this book. Peers only chose to insert some of them.
What about the books of Thomas, the Apocrapha and so many others? Even the recently found Dead Sea Scrolls, which are transcriptions of testimony.

If your documents are your proof for non-existant God, and the Bible and other books are other's proof for God's existance, how can either writing be true? How are they measured one against the other? A measurement from the minds of men which are subject to change or the scales can be tipped from side to side. It can not be weighted to the burden of Proof. It can only be judged by the preponderance of the evidence which would mean, WHO IS THE MOST BELIEVABLE? It is for each individual to decide.

The paper documents prove nothing. You can not measure the invisible or the Supernatural. You do not know this realm. We are dealing with another realm here, another consciousness.

I will be honest and say that maybe as far back as December, I remember seeing you in the forums, perhaps the political ones??
I know I did not like you. Never really gave you a second look I should say. Now today, I find out more of who you are by reading what you have posted. Today, I say, He's an alright guy, I may want to talk with him further.

I admire Jesus for the sharing we can do in the forums on CS, where He is revealed through others on the threads!

There are more unbelievers here than believers. Or maybe the unbelievers are keeping the believers in hiding?

We are told by Jesus to not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. A yoke binds two together as one, as in a marriage. Couldn't you just imagine the division in a household if someone like myself were yoked together with someone like crotalus? Or trish123 with mikeHD?
These threads are important in making decisions of whom we will have for a life long partner. Sometimes, I will see what someone shares on a thread and think, hey, I want to know that person.

I admire Jesus for giving me the ability to unconditionally love others who are not like me and even those who hate Him or do not believe in Him!

Yes, we like to share and encourage one another. It is always great to meet a kindred spirit.
We are not here to convert anyone and just as the title of this thread asks us, What do we admire about the Lord Jesus Christ, we want to share our answers. It is encouraging and uplifting for us. It is a question for those who believe, not unbelievers.

Yes Robbie, it is very suitable to go on a dating site and discuss these things. I would not begin a relationship which was not founded on Christ. Perhaps if the unbelievers would leave us alone as we discuss our beliefs, possibly potiential mates may have the guts to post in the forums without fear of being personally attacked, where we may be able to meet someone with the same belief system. We could be being robbed of meeting that special someone because of all the strife that goes on in the Religious threads. It is really unfair to us.

I admire Jesus for bringing kindred spirits into my life and I want to meet some more of them!!!

Crottie, You are asking for finite evidence of something which is invisable and occurs within a man. It takes place on the inside. It is a heart issue, a mind issue, an issue of the soul.
Only those who have gone through the experience can share in their own way to you what it is like. But you can not see within a mans heart to prove what is taking place inside of him. Nor do you know a man's mind to see the changes which take place there. There is a very real presence which can not been seen, but definitly is felt throughout your entire being. It can not be denied by those who experience it. They know it is real. No way to prove it to you. That is why it is received by faith, believing in things which are not seen, yet hoped for. And then given to each, through Grace, which is surely undeserved. It's about living in the presence of a Supernatural being or entity. The intersection of 2 planes (not airplanes)if you can fathom that.

But not only was He admirable for His Obedience to the Father in carrying out His mission, but it was the purpose in His doing so that I admire most...

He did it so that himself, the Father and the Holy Spirit could come and live INSIDE of ALL who would BELIEVE and be ONE with us! The same POWER that raised Christ from the dead, lives in and is at work within every believer. What began in the book of Acts at Pentecost, is still ongoing today. It is life changing.

No words in a book can do this in you, only seeking the presence of the Almighty! A true treasure to behold! He is pure love.

Yes, I admire Him most for filling me with Himself to overflowing with the presence of Pure Love!
