Study Advocates Aspartame is Safe?

Industry-funded study calls aspartame safe

A review of 500 studies conducted over a quarter century has turned up no credible evidence that the widely used artificial sweetener aspartame is unsafe, industry-funded research released on Tuesday showed.

A panel of American, British and Dutch experts rejected the notion that aspartame causes cancer, seizures, neurological damage or learning problems, or contributes to obesity. The panel did conclude that some people might be prone to headaches after consuming it.

The group did not conduct original research but assessed existing studies on the safety of aspartame, first approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in 1981. It is widely used in diet soft drinks and sold in packets for use in coffee, tea or on food.

The panel found consumption of it increasing, but said it was safe even among the heaviest users, whether adults or children.

"Controlled and thorough scientific studies confirm aspartame's safety and find no credible link between consumption of aspartame at levels found in the human diet and conditions related to the nervous system and behavior, nor any other symptom or illness," the researchers said in a paper published in the journal Critical Reviews in Toxicology.

"There is no credible evidence that aspartame is carcinogenic," they added.

Since its approval, some people have argued that aspartame can cause a variety of illnesses, and various Web sites such as denounce the sweetener.

I will never accept the news of aspartame safety. I think it is a "business" decision to discredit/discount the research results that aspartame DOES cause cancer, major nerve disorders, birth defects, and brain imbalances. Think about it - can you imagine the chaos that will occur when the truth of aspartame dangers is accredited. The FDA has known about the dangers, the corporations have known about the dangers, and the medical community (if it is really worth anything) has known about the dangers. The legal systems around the world aren't prepared for the number of lawsuits that will FLOOD the court systems if this truth is given life. The news reports have just released that acetaminophen found in Tylenol® has caused more deaths than any other substance in American drug history. But they dare to defend aspartame?? This CYA madness will stop one day and the truth about aspartame will become public knowledge - it has to. Never give up hope that the truth about the dangers of aspartame are real. One day, this will be common knowledge, but the "system" will take a major hit when it does.

I run a Health Food Store do health counseling and teach healthy lifestyle classes.
We recommend "Stevia" as a sugar substitute.
Personally, I recommend Pure Honey for those who can use it.
As for myself, I use RAW SUGAR.

The agent you are putting in your coffee and with those extreme amounts will give you CANCER!!! I suggest you STOP using it immediately!!!!! Begin a good Body Cleanse and Detoxify your innards! Drink pure water, You are TOXIC!!!

Can anyone prove him wrong on what he discloses?
He really has a passion for what he does and so do those who follow him.
You should start such a thread.
But still, there is no need to get nasty here. Keep your blood pressure down. Drew has another motive here, so let him ride with it. You may be smarter than the average bear Robbie, but everyone else is not. Give them their opportunity to expand and don't quench it. Perhaps those who would take this opportunity for the first time, would be discouraged to do so, by your words. Get the whole picture of what this thread is intended to bring about, as I said in my earlier post.

Robbie, as we have seen through MANY of Drewski's threads, he is very well informed and knows how to research from other sources.
I believe the purpose of this thread, the underlying message, is to motivate those who do not do this type of research, into doing it. So they will learn to see things through another perspective, instead of being brainwashed through MSM or thinking that MSM tells no lies. People need to learn to think Outside the Box. It's a mind exercise assignment. My hat's off to Drew for this! His motivation in choosing the way he posts is much like my own. Things are not always as they seem!

Perhaps that's why they keep coming back? They just don't "get it". So they get another chance. Must be circumstantial, cos Jesus didn't teach that. I can't say for sure.

It's enough just to get through this journey, don't want to cause a circuit overload in my feeble little mind, thinking about such things!

God made a way for man to be enabled to choose the right decisions. He gave man His Spirit. If man would listen to the voice of the Spirit within him, his decisions would be those he was meant to make.
Self-centered and prideful man, wants to disregard this way and make his own decisions. This is why man gets himself into so many messes. Man chooses to be his own God, doing his own will.
Yes, there are consequences to face for doing so. They are lessons to be learned on the pathway of life. Hopefully, to bring man into understanding that the Great Spirit wants to help him on his journey.
Man has hardened his heart against God.
God wants us to have Unity with Him.
Living a life separated from God, (not in Unity) is the only so called "sin".

Would you really expect to live forever in the Presence of the Great Spirit whom you never Knew? It would be as if walking into a strangers house and telling him, "I have come here to live in your home." Surely he will kick you out!

Possibly because Truth is found within the man who has Fellowship with God, who spends time in God's Presence, who Hears and Obeys the VOICE of God, who is ONE with God in SPIRIT and in Truth.
You can not know this by any Book! It grows and is developed within a man, by disciplining himself to Practice the Presence of God.

God created man in His IMAGE. God is Spirit.
Man in the image of God, is Spirit, contained temporarilly in a flesh body.
There is a realm to be seen with our eyes and also an invisible realm, the spirit realm. The spirit realm is reality and it never ends.
We are only passing through, on a Journey.

The book was meant to be a helpful tool, to help us gain understanding of both worlds, that we may grow and develope into all the fullness of God's Spirit and help others along the way.
Man has turned it into "Religion", which was not intended.
The teachings and traditions of man are not to be followed. We should follow the voice of the Spirit.

Man should seek oneness with that Spirit, which will bring him into oneness with mother earth and everything she has to offer.
Unity can be attained. Balance is key.

I also believe that many "scriptures" have been misinterpreted.
The Spirit shows me this. To gain understanding of them, you must have the Spirit to teach you. It is Impossible to gain the secret knowledge without the Spirit. It is "foolishness" to those who have not the Spirit.

You can try to explain it away and speculate. But I was with the woman. The woman was DEAD. It was her choice to return to her body so that justice could be served. She was stabbed in the right places. She was DEAD and stayed in the hospital for quite awhile afterwards, getting put back together. It was a Supernatural experience. Her ability to talk. The young man staying calm and taking her exactly where she told him to take her. The power of God was on them both.

That lady Does Thank God for her life and that she was able to help in having Justice served.

You are very analytical, as I am myself. I wish I knew the time period and location. It may have even been before the internet. Surely he is on death row.

She was friends with his mother. She said the young man was very grotesque looking (ugly) and she felt sorry for him and tried to befriend him. She was a straight up Christian woman, trying to show him acceptance and unconditional love.

I am still searching page after page. I think it shows the most recent first, so I may be sitting here for several years trying to find the right key words to fit the story.

I am trying to find the story. I do not know what year it happened, she did not say. I know that she knew the young man, he was the son of a woman she knew. I know enough of the details that I will recognise the story.
Yes, there would have to be a record as he was also indicted on the previous murders. She had only recently met him. She was never a suspect.

True, things can happen as you have explained here. But they did not happen in her case.
She told us that when she spoke with God, it was a thought to thought conversation, the lips did not move. She was in the Spirit. Her Spirit left her body and was with God, remember, her body was locked in the trunk of the car.
Also, this woman had no knowledge of the other women whom this man had murdered prior to her own death. God told her and he told her to tell the authorites. This would have been IMPOSSIBLE
for her to know if her story were not true. The woman told us her story through many tears. She shared her story with very few people. I was fortunate to be one of them.

krimsa! Let me share with you a story. About 5 years ago, a gf and I went to Fort Worth to meet a woman for lunch. My gf knew her well. I went to hear her give account of a terrifying experience she had.
This woman had been stabbed to death, stabbed 27 times by her assailant. She was DEAD! He killed her in a motel room. He put her body in the truck of the car and drove to a desolated area.
Durring the trip, this woman went into the presence of God and a conversation took place. God told her that this man had killed 5 other women. He burried all 5 bodies in this same area, where they would never be found. God wanted this man caught. He asked the woman if she would go back and bring charges against this man and tell where the other bodies were burried, as the man had taken her to the same area. She agreed to do this.
When the man reached the area, he went to the trunk of the car to remove the woman. He opened the trunk and she was staring at him. She told him to take her out and put her in the front seat. He was freakin... you can imagine... said to her, "You are DEAD!" But he did as she requested. God was in total control of this situation. He drove back to town, stopped at a gas station. The woman went inside and called police. The man was arrested, tried and convicted. The other bodies were found and he was charged for them as well.
It caused this woman great pain to share this story with us, as she was re-living it as she shared it.
Yes, krimsa, there is a God, and yes, He is able to bring them back from the dead, even this woman who was so brutally murdered.
