It is the mother-heart of God that has ahold of you! Compassion, ability to love unconditionally. This is a good thing, BUT...

When it comes to personal intimate relationships, it's a definite NO!!!!! Love Blue Eyes unconditionally as a friend, but do not enter into a personal relationship with him.
Sure, you've been through it before and you know too well how it will go. That is NOT the point. I speak from my own experience from doing the same thing, many times in my own life.
Yes, I learned from those experiences and it brought many changes to ME, which helped me grow, but not to those I extended my heart to. In their lack of understanding, it truely only hurt them more. It gave me many sorrows, as I hurt for them. I count none of them as bad, but as lessons.

You do not need to repeat this lesson. Do not fool yourself. This man will prevent you from the fullness of joy meant for you, by giving yourself fully to the one who will give himself completely to you. You must end the cycle of committing to the wrong type. You set yourself up to be hurt, by choosing those who make you feel needed. A fine line separates us from choosing these commitments. Do not cross that line. The Great Spirit has so much more for you, if you will be obedient and not give in. You may need to exert "tough love". Be strong Dru.
Resist this man, you would only be setting yourself up for a fall, and missing out on the opportunity of receiving the true one appointed to you, who will show you the love you have awaited your entire life.

Write it down, the man who would captivate your love, what would he be like? Use it as a plumbline. Then, when making a commitment, read over it. Can this man fill these shoes? If not, he is not the one. This will bring you closer to reaching the goal of the one who will hold your heart dear. Do not settle for anything less than the one you have written about.

I am being bold in stating this, but everything within me tells me to be this bold about it and that you can recieve what I tell you.

I love you and I care enough to speak the truth to you. I know this is why you posted this thread.

Oh how my heart aches for you in this situation.

You are truely blessed to have the opportunity to live there and study there.

We can all say yes, and be thankful to God, where ever we reside in this world. There are many beautiful places! God is everywhere! The beauty of nature proves it.

I must get to sleep now. Goodnight everyone and thanks for all of the laughs Tony and Jeff! It's been hysterical! God has a sence of humor!

This is a good thread and I hope you all find more understanding through it and that it will help you want to experience the true love of God. Seek and you shall find! Ask and it will be given to you! Knock and He will open the door and let you in! It's not stinkin religion!!!!!!

I continually have "mystic" experiences. Why is this considered to be mystic experiences when truely, all who really KNOW and have a relationship with God, should be having these experiences, especially professed Christians. Instead of it being the "norm", we relate to the mystics. This should not be so. I only seem to "fit in" with the mystics of long ago. Todays christians think I am "wierd". I have only gone where God has taken me and only because I have sought Him with my whole entire being, as I am in love with Him. It is a true intimacy. Yes, you "feel" the love. It consumes you. Like the waves flow to the shoreline, His waves of love ebb upon you. It is truely wonderful!!! I live for this presence.

Actually Ambrose, God is LOVE. Love is the opposite of fear.
Therefore, there is no fear in Love. There is no fear IN God.
A difference.
The OP mentioned a fear OF God, not IN God.

Proberbs 1 states that the fear of the Lord is the begining of wisdom. In other words, to attain true wisdom, it comes from knowing God, within, not the wisdom given to us by the world.
