Hi Sparky! I was just thinking of you last night... it's been a long time since I've seen you around and wondered what you were up to. Now, here you are! Cool!
Of course our viewpoints still differ so nothings changed much.
I watched both of the videos you posted, a couple of months ago. The Obama Deception was excellent and very well put together.
I also really like Jesse Ventura and have seen him speak in person, in Minnesota. He was probably one of the best Governors Minnesota ever had, in bringing to light the bullying and control of the powers that be. Jesse stood up to them and exposed them. I admire him for that! He is a true Patriot.
As for Alex Jones, many people put him down too. I don't know if there be anyone else on the planet with such a firey passion for enlightening his fellow man and exposing the deeds of government darkness.
True, at times his extremism is a bit much, but his passion about it shows his sincerity. I admire him for that. He has been a good inspiration to many young people who are now working to the same cause... getting out the information, that "We The People" have been lied to about. I am greatful that the Free Press is still speaking!
You are absolutely right, john! I would almost bet that not only do most Americans not know what the US Constitution states, but neither do our Representatives!
The Constitution makes itself perfectly clear in its meaning. It is very easily understood. Those in the Courts who are giving it new definition, are purposly making the changes, by re-writing it, and passing laws to make the Constitution no longer valid.
Thanks for the Barney Fife video. It's really not so laughable, but more sad, as there are so many Barneys in this country!
I enter this new year with enthusiasm! This is a new day at the start of a new year, and I choose a new way of being. I choose to be free of the limiting thoughts of the past and to not allow outworn habits or beliefs to control my life.
Perhaps I am guided to try something I have not tried before or go somewhere I've never been. If so, I open my mind to divine direction and guidance, and I accept these new experiences as loving gifts. I look for and find the blessings they bring--blessings of new relationships, hidden talents and the fullness of success.
I am excited about this new beginning. Through the presence of God in me, my life is brimming with unlimited possibilities for good.
My family and I are celebrating Christmas. Got the grandkids here for the first time in years. They have just fallen asleep. Getting ready to put the presents under the tree. Such fun!!!
Merry Christmas and let me tell you that I love you!!!
Zeitgeist... totally AWESOME to honour such a film at Christmas time!!! I perhaps would have chosen it for the New Years Celebration! But I must Applause you for your bravery and YES! Christmas is a time for an eye opening experience!!!
"I waited patiently for the Lord; he inclined to me and heard my cry. He drew me up from the pit of destruction, out of the miry bog, and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure. He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many will see and fear, and put their trust in the Lord." - Psalms 40:1–3
The longer I live, the more I come to understand that life doesn't have a lot of green lights. There are hardly any times where God is like, "Do you want that? Have it right now. Why didn't you ask sooner?" More often God is like, "I'd like you to wait."
"No! I want it right now!"
God is like, "Listen! You might think you want it now, but I'm going to give it to you when you're fit to receive it. I'm going to use the process of waiting to shape you into the woman or the man that I want you to be. Getting it now wouldn't advance My purposes for you. I want you to wait."
Waiting is not an easy thing. Waiting is not passivity. Waiting on God is not the absence of efforts. Waiting is "I've done everything I know how to do but it's not enough and now I am waiting on God to do for me what I could not do for myself."
That is such an important lesson to learn. Let me tell you about some of the benefits that you get when you wait on God. Here are five verses that spell them out.
According to Psalm 40:1 when we wait on God, He hears our prayers: "I waited patiently for the Lord and He inclined to me and heard my cry." According to Isaiah 64:4 when we wait on God, He acts on our behalf: "Nor has the eye seen a God like You who acts on behalf of those who wait for Him." That's what God is fired up about. He works for the people who wait. I wonder how many things we don't get because we're out there working for it ourselves beyond what we should and God's like, "Would you just stop that? I act on behalf of the people who wait for Me." Psalm 25:3 says that when we wait on God, He keeps us from shame: "Indeed none of those who wait for You O God will be ashamed." Isaiah 40:31 says that He gives strength to those who wait: "Yet those who wait for the Lord will gain new strength." Psalm 37:34 tells us that those who wait for God are exalted: "Wait for the Lord and He will exalt you." Bottom line; God always makes it worth our while to wait for Him!
