Dems Plead Guilty to Felony Charges in Voter Fraud Scandal in Troy, New York December 21,2011
Last week, we told you about an election fraud investigation with allegations of faked signatures to get then-candidate Barack Obama on the Indiana primary ballot in 2008. Today, four Democratic operatives, including a city councilman, have pleaded guilty to felony charges in a voter fraud scandal to try to steal the primary election — this time in Troy, New York.
Fox News first broke the story nationally about the allegations that absentee ballots were forged in the 2009 primary in Troy of the Working Families Party, a group once associated with the defunct community group ACORN. Voters told Eric Shawn that they never signed absentee ballot applications and that ballots were cast in their names.
Shawn pointed out that Troy City Councilman Michael Loporto goes on trial next month along with the Democratic county elections commissioner. Loporto said that he did nothing wrong.
One of the Democratic operatives who pleaded guilty, Anthony Defiglio, told New York state police in 2009 that absentee ballot fraud works. “This is an ongoing scheme and it occurs on both sides of the aisle. The people who are targeted live in low-income housing and there is a sense that they are a lot less likely to ask any questions … what appears as a huge conspiracy to non-political persons is really a normal political tactic,” Defiglio said.

I do not know how any red blooded american could watch that video and not give Ron Paul the vote. It made me cry. If you really love this country, you'll cry too.
I don't have a clue how studies can be done on waiting in line, especially the wait between purchasing a toothbrush or an ipod. I just wonder how much money was spent to conduct the survey?

The trouble with voters in America is that we have been conditioned to be competitive minded and root for the "winner", according to what everyone else thinks, instead of voting for the BEST MAN.
"Oh, I don't think he could beat him." Well, as long as people think that way, he won't get the vote. But if EVERYONE who thinks that way, goes ahead and votes for him, he could WIN! Stop trying to be on the winning team and vote from your HEART.
If you believe we need an Honest man with a proven track record in the Whitehouse, how can your conscience allow you to not give this man your vote?

Appreciate you wanting to share these things to inform others. Just saying there is a better way to do it, so posters can respond better. Also, they generally do not like to read pages of info all at once, especially about differing subject matters.

That's the plea Newt Gingrich is making to voters nowadays in a desperate bid to hang on to his flavor-of-the-week status.
But whenever I hear Newt try to sweep his Big Government record under the rug, I can hardly help but shake my head.
You see, if you and I are truly serious about defeating President Obama in 2012 and turning our country around, nominating Newt Gingrich is the absolute LAST thing the Republican Party should do.
Newt Gingrich's record as the consummate Washington, D.C. insider is crystal clear.
For his support of the individual mandate central to "ObamaCare" and other Big Government schemes, Newt raked in nearly $40 million from health care giants.
For his efforts to stop conservative legislators from working to end government involvement in housing, Newt got $1.6 million from Freddie Mac.
And Newt shamelessly referred to feathering his nest with taxpayer money as "the standard Washington fee."
And this is all while I was doing everything I could to warn my fellow Members of Congress about just how much damage the housing bubble would cause.
Sadly, Newt was the one Congress listened to, and America paid a steep price.
The truth is, selling access and padding your own personal bank accounts at the expense of your country is hardly conservative.
Neither is supporting $700 BILLION TARP bailouts.
Neither is cutting TV ads with Nancy Pelosi or cosponsoring over 400 bills with her.
Neither is consistently supporting "global warming" legislation and pushing the environmental alarmists' agenda.
Neither is voting with Ted Kennedy to create the Department of Education.
Neither is campaigning across the country with Al Sharpton and Obama's Education Secretary for even more Big Government federal "solutions" for our education system.
Neither is joining with Big Government liberals to slam Paul Ryan's attempt to get our federal budget under control as "right wing social engineering."
Of course, Newt loves to make sure we all know he knows a little about history.
But he constantly demands you and I just ignore his own!
Well, June, this isn't a college classroom, where changing positions on a whim has no consequences, and fascination with Big Government ideas to fix all of the world's problems is encouraged.
This is the real world, and here in the real world Americans are hurting.
And they're hurting because establishment insiders have been ruling the roost in Washington, D.C. for too long.
I believe the American people understand we simply cannot afford another counterfeit conservative.
If Republican voters are truly serious about defeating President Obama and getting our country back on the right track, we must understand that, as well.
Like Newt, I have a long public record. But it's not one I have to apologize for or explain away.
I've spent 30 years fighting Big Government, not growing it.
That's because I didn't come to Washington, D.C. to get rich. I came to make a difference.
So I'm not running from my voting record. I'm not running from my public statements. I'm not running from my predictions.
I'm running on them.
And now my campaign has been catapulted into the top tier nationally and in EVERY key early state just three weeks before voters begin selecting the Republican nominee for President.
The American people are realizing that I'm running for President because I believe we need someone who will put faith, family, and freedom above all else.

I used to haul beef to Anjou, Quebec. My first trip up there, I had a stop in Montreal. I could not find the delivery location so I stopped at a Mall. It was early in the morning so I went into a Bakery. I wanted directions or a telephone and tried to explain. The woman was very uncooporative and rude. She said, "No English!"
I heard the French in Montreal do not like the English. I believe it. They have been wanting independence for quite sometime.
The man I delivered to in Anjou was the nicest man though. He would request for my company to send ME with his delivery.

Why do you say this? If the article were true, pot would still be illegal for those under 18.
I am concerned about this topic, and want opinions because a Presidential candidate is suggesting we give the States authority to legalize pot and other drugs.
Here in the U.S., alcohol consumption laws are left up to the individual states. Some states the leagle age is 18 and in others it is 21. In many states it is legal for an underaged person to drink with their parent in a bar or restaurant.

A story which went viral on the Web today -- indicating that Sweden had bravely forged ahead of its Scandinavian neighbors and legalized cannabis -- appears to be a hoax.
One story on JustPaste.It, headlined "Sweden legalizes and regulates cannabis," created a bit of a stir (and a storm of page hits) on social media networks.
However, the story, which linked to no confirming sources and listed as its source "420 Dagbladet, Stockholm, December 19, 2011," could not be confirmed anywhere else and seems to have no validity.
"420 Dagbladet," which would mean "420 Daily Newspaper," doesn't even appear to exist, either as a website or as a print publication.
Users in the "Sensationalist Headlines" section on the forums of the site FacePunch weren't fooled for long, and the member who posted the item appeared to have been banned from the site as a result.
The story quickly went viral on the cannabis oriented "Trees" section of social media news sharing site Reddit, but as its shakiness and lack of verification became obvious, users voted the story down in almost equal numbers to the up votes. As of 5:32 p.m. Pacific time on Monday, the submission had logged 1,238 up votes and 1,074 down votes, for a net score of 164. (Yeah, I was one of those down votes.)
