Let me say that I do like Sarah Palin. I like what she is doing with the grassroots movement. She has energy and encourages others to vote for what they believe in. She's a good PR person.

But... I do not believe she would be our BEST choice for President of the U.S.

If we want to put a woman in office, why not one with more experience? I have one in mind...

The GRU further states that the timing of this attack was timed even more crucially due to China’s testing of America’s response time during a period when their President, as Commander In Chief of all US Military Forces, was out of the country, as Obama was as he was in India at the time.

The Americans response time of nearly 11 hours between the EMP attack on the Carnival Splendor and the US retaliatory strike, the GRU states, “virtually assured” that the Chinese submarine responsible for the attack escaped, but which they further point out may have been intended by the Americans so as not to escalate this crisis.

To the geo-political reason(s) for a Communist Chinese attack upon the Americans just days before the crucially important G-20 Summit in South Korea, which both President’s Hu and Obama will be attending, this report says was due to the United States, in essence, declaring total economic war upon the rest of the world by its printing of nearly $1 Trillion US Dollars in order to monetize its staggering debt and that China warned:
“If the United States can increase the volume of dollars and it can transmit inflation to other countries to lessen the pressure of debt, then it will bring about a catastrophic influence on the world.”

Typical of the United States propaganda media organs in telling their citizens about the true events relating to this crisis, it as if they have put themselves in total Cold War mode reminiscent of the 1940’s to the late 1980’s when they, likewise, failed to inform them of the many incidents or US Soldier deaths related to that conflict.

Most dangerous about the American people not being informed of the true and tragic state of our world today is their not being able to prepare for the much larger conflicts to come, especially in light of China ’s Communists vowing that they won’t go down without a fight. Chinese EMP Attack Prompts US Missile Strike After Cruise Ship Crippled

A new report circulating in the Kremlin today prepared for Prime Minister Putin by Director Anatoly Perminov of the Russian Federal Space Agency states that an Arkon-1 military satellite monitoring the western coastal regions of North America detected an “EMP anomalous event” occurring on November 8th at 0600 Pacific Standard Time (-8 hours GMT) that bore the “direct signature” of a YJ-62 subsonic anti-ship missile fired from a Chinese People’s Liberation Navy Type 041 submarine (NATO code name Yuan-Class)known to be patrolling approximately 200 kilometers off United States coast.

Nearly 11 hours after this EMP “event”, this report further says, Arkon-1 then detected a BGM-109 (Tomahawk) subsonic cruise missile launched from a US Navy Ohio-Class submarine operating off the coast of California on a “training mission” from its home port located at US Navy’s Kitsap Base in Washington State and was enroute to the largest American Naval Base on the US west coast in San Diego, California.

Note: A Russian military intelligence (GRU) addendum to this report states that the “training mission” the Ohio-Class submarine was on is related to a new US law passed this year allowing for the first time in history for women to serve on US Navy subs and was an “operational exercise” testing female Naval Officers competence prior to their first “operational deployment”.

The “immediate effect” of the Chinese Navy’s firing of their EMP missile, this report continues, was the “catastrophic crippling” of the US based cruise ship Carnival Splendor that stranded its nearly 4,500 passengers and crew in a “dead in the water” boat and prompting the Americans to send the US Navy’s Ronald Reagan aircraft carrier, warplanes, and supply aircraft to protect it from further attack after all of its electronic systems were destroyed.

An electromagnetic pulse (EMP) such as was used upon the Carnival Splendor is a burst of electromagnetic radiation that causes rapidly changing electric fields (or magnetic fields) that when coupling with electrical/electronic systems produces damaging current and voltage surges destroying all non-hardened electrical systems.

The US Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) had previously warned that American ships were vulnerable to such attacks with EMP Assessment Group Leader of Blaise Corbett stating that “the consequences of failing to take appropriate precautions to protect fleet mission critical systems can ultimately prove catastrophic to the Navy’s mission.”

The purpose of this Chinese EMP upon an American ship, this report says, was twofold: 1.) A test of the EMP weapon itself that in a war against the Americans and would be used against their Naval Fleet and Marine Forces operating out of California and the west coast of the US, and 2.) A test of the response time for American retaliatory measures against any Chinese warship attacking the US and/or its interests in the Pacific.

Robert Ellsworth, former U.S. Ambassador to NATO and a former Deputy Secretary of Defence, said after seeing the video: ‘It’s spectacular. It takes the breath away.’

He called it a ‘big missile’, larger than a Tomahawk missile, which can be fireed from a submerged submarine.

With President Obama currently on a 10-day tour of Asia, he speculated it may have been the US military showing off their muscle to Far Eastern leaders.

He said: 'It could be a test firing of an intercontinental ballistic missile from an underwater submarine to demonstrate, mainly to Asia, that we can do that.'

But he was quick to point out that this was just a theory.

He also revealed that a test missile was fired over the Atlantic to demonstrate America's power to the Soviets when there was a Soviet Union, but doesn't believe it has ever been done over the Pacific.

L.A. ‘mystery missile’ may have been errant launch, experts say
November 9, 2010

Military officials remain stumped about the mysterious projectile spotted in the sky off the Southern California coast, but aerospace experts said it appeared to be an errant missile launch.

Pentagon officials are looking into what they have called an "unexplained contrail" after a KCBS news helicopter shot video late Monday of a luminous point hurtling through the sky followed by a long vapor trail.

Each branch of the military has denied involvement, and the Pentagon has been cryptic about the object and who may have launched it. Despite this, officials said the event was not a threat to national security. They also said it was not a launch by a foreign military.

While rocket launches are a common sight in Southern California, getting proper authorization is a weeks-long process. Authorities that oversee commercial and military launches have denied any knowledge of a scheduled launch.

The Federal Aviation Administration did not approve any commercial space launches around the area Monday, said spokesman Ian Gregor. In addition, the agency did not receive reports of any unusual sightings from pilots who were flying in the area.

After reports of the event, the agency ran radar replays of a large area west of Los Angeles and did not spot any fast-moving, unidentified targets in that area.

Officials at nearby military bases where rocket launches regularly take place also said they were not involved.

Aerospace experts who reviewed the footage said the size of the plume suggests it was a large military rocket or missile.

"The launch of a rocket that size doesn't belong to any commercial entity without them issuing a press release," said Marco Caceres, analyst with Teal Group Corp., a Fairfax, Va.-based aerospace research firm. "It can't belong to anyone but the military."

The lack of explanation from the Pentagon makes Caceres believe it may have been a mistake -- perhaps a defense exercise launched by accident.

Based on the footage, it is unclear where exactly the missile was coming from, but many analysts believe it originated near Naval Air Station Point Mugu in Ventura County, where missiles and missile defense exercises are regularly carried out.

Officials at the base, however, denied it was their missile.

"It didn't happen here," said Naval Base Ventura County spokeswoman Teri Reid. "There was no firing on the range yesterday."

The military also operates a floating ocean platform and regularly carries out tests at San Nicolas Island, one of the Channel Islands.

Riki Ellison, founder and chairman of the Missile Defense Advocacy Alliance, said it could have been launched from an island off the mainland or a submarine in the Pacific Ocean.

In any case, if this were a planned event, military officials would have known weeks in advance.

"There is a safety routine that the government goes through," Ellison said. "Everything needs to be cleared away. They're not going to take any risks."

Thanks for posting this thread. Or perhaps I should say that it's good that I read thru it, as I had no idea what a Troll was!
I see ya'll refering to them in thread titles, but it's such a distraction to what I am here to discuss, so I have never ventured into the threads.

At least now I know what they are AND I will continue to avoid contact with these trolls. Besides, trolls live under bridges and I prefer a mate who has a home.

Although we’ve heard this word frequently in the past couple days, Tuesday’s elections were indeed “historic.”

Not because one party gained more seats than another in Congress. Not even because incumbents were kicked out in numerous gubernatorial and state legislature races.

But because countless numbers of the American people kept their word to stand up for what they believe in and challenge the establishment.

Politicians have heard lots of talk before, but now they know it will be backed up with action on Election Day.

And those newly-elected know that if they don’t stick to their promises, they’ll be next.

Across the country, there’s plenty of good news to report.

Not only was C4L’s Honorary Chairman, Congressman Ron Paul, returned to office with almost 80% of the vote, but Dr. Paul will be joined in his next term by many who went on the record for liberty by answering our federal candidate survey 100%.

In the Senate, these are Dr. Paul’s son, Rand Paul, who won a significant victory over his opponent, and Mike Lee, who beat out Pro-TARP incumbent Bob Bennett in the primary season and cruised to victory in the national. In the House, the list includes John Duncan (TN-2) and Paul Broun (GA-10).

And joining Dr. Paul in the House for the first time will be Michigan’s Justin Amash and dozens of other anti-status quo Republicans who filled out Campaign for Liberty surveys and/or took strong, clear stands for less government and more liberty.

While the national results stole the spotlight, there was plenty of action going on at the state level, and C4L activists were right in the thick of it.

In Iowa, C4L member Glen Massie beat out an incumbent to win a seat in the Iowa State House, while Ron Paul-endorsed candidate Kim Pearson also won a State House seat and Ron Paul-endorsed Liberty leader Kent Sorenson will now represent Iowa’s 37th District in the State Senate.

In New Hampshire, two liberty-minded candidates won election to the State Senate, and at least 10 Ron Paul supporters won seats in the State House, while longtime Liberty hero Dave Wheeler will be returning to the powerful Governor’s Executive Council.

In Georgia, constitutionalist Barry Loudermilk was elected to the Senate and Bobby Franklin was reelected to the House.

Many, many more stories remain to be told of liberty-stealing incumbents losing their seats and Campaign for Liberty activists taking action, but they will have to wait for another time.

Comfort

I am at home in the presence of God and comforted by the Holy Spirit.
Surrounded by comfortable items--like a well-worn pair of blue jeans, a warm bathrobe or a favorite chair--I feel at home and relaxed. While these are material comforts, there is an eternal comfort that lies beyond the physical world.

Jesus declared, "I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever." This Comforter--the Holy Spirit--is with me always. The Holy Spirit comforts my soul, eases my mind and calms my emotions.

When I center my thoughts on God and wrap myself in an awareness of God's loving presence, I experience the ultimate comfort. Filled with the Holy Spirit, I am home.

Before I began my journey of self discovery, I couldn’t tolerate my own insecurity: I couldn’t stand feeling shy or intimidated. I had an idea of who I should be, and I used to hide my fragility behind alcohol, a facade that gave me a confident and outgoing appearance. But behind that facade, I had to live with the truth. To some extent, we all do this: we all have an idea of how we should present ourselves to others. But as long as we depend on the shifting opinions of a changeable world, we will live in fear; a fear that can only be overcome by shedding our protective shells: shells that were built to protect us, but have now become our prisons.

This process of self acceptance is an act of love. It is the greatest gift you can give to yourself. Be gentle when you do it: don’t punish yourself for feeling insecure, or for what you perceive as your shortcomings. If a child is afraid, do you punish them? No, you love them, you talk to them, you console them. Yet with ourselves, we are violent and unforgiving; we don’t tolerate our mistakes. In order to find internal security, we must learn to trust ourselves. We need to learn to accept every aspect, not from a place of resignation, or feeling like we’ve failed; but from a place of learning to love the child within and seeing beyond the aspects that no longer serve us.

When you become aware of an aspect of yourself you have learnt to hide, move towards it. Don’t continue covering it behind more layers of personality. The quicker you recognize and embrace these aspects, the quicker you will be free of them. When you embrace fear, the illusion it has created falls, and then what is left? Love. Like clouds across the sun, when they pass, the light shines through. Confront your fears with love, don’t reject them or avoid them; if you do, the clouds across the sun will soon become a tsunami.

Our insecurities become most evident when things don’t go how we want them to; when this anxiety appears, your need for control becomes more obvious. This need to control the people and things around us is a reflection of inner insecurity: love trusts and flows, fear controls and resists. When you feel the need to control, go deeper, and beneath the thoughts of worry you will find something greater.

When you experience inner transformation, and become love-consciousness, when unconditional love of self becomes a force that overflows from within in abundance, then everything flows towards you and then out toward everyone. It becomes a magnetic, powerful force that attracts everything towards you, and your creations will exceed your expectations. You will see that in reality nothing was ever missing, that everything is here and now, because when you feel complete within yourself, everything comes to you. When you are anchored in that space, you become the love. Choose for love and it will come to you. Instead of focusing on what is missing, focus on giving: giving without limit.

We have been trained to think that everything is limited, and this thought brings us anxiety and insecurity, but now, focus on the love, and experience the unlimited abundance of creation. I invite you to create this experience within yourself; to discover the profound, permanent fulfillment that lies within your heart.

The modern world is an uncertain place. Sliding stock markets and new technologies transform society at a dizzying pace, and no one can say what tomorrow will bring. Of course, this has always been true: the future has always been marked by uncertainty; such is the mystery of life. But maybe now this truth is becoming more evident; no matter where we live in the world, the illusion of material stability holds little promise of securing our future.

How can we overcome the feeling of insecurity, in an uncertain world? How can we find true stability in the shifting sands of modern times? The truth is, security can be found only where it has always been found: true security can only be found within.

Within each of us lies absolute stability. Within the experience that I call love-consciousness, no lack, no fear can be sustained. Love-consciousness is the experience of pure being, of our true nature. It is not a mystical or esoteric experience; in fact it is the most concrete experience in the universe. But in order to reach this experience, we must learn to embrace our fears and doubts; we must learn to embrace every aspect of ourselves if we want to find completion.

If there is a part of yourself that you reject, your love of self is conditional. Unconditional love denies nothing: it embraces everything, seeing through the actions of fear and making new choices, but with love, not judgment. If you wish to be free of insecurity, you must first embrace it.

If you reject your feelings of insecurity they will come back to haunt you. If you ignore a child, he will linger, begging to be loved; if you ignore a part of yourself, it will remain in the back of your mind, like a lie that you can hide, but never forget.

Confronting the parts of yourself that you judge is scary: in doing so, you are admitting that the mask you have presented to society is a lie. You are dropping the crutches you have used to feel strong, and there will be a moment when you doubt your ability to walk alone. But if you want to be free of insecurity, this is a process you will have to face.

Great observation romulus but many will argue that "if you don't work, you don't eat". "We must keep a roof over our heads and pay our bills". Such it is in a materialistic society. This is a choice.

Why not live simpler? Take a canoe, tent and survival equipment and live on the river. We could choose to get back to basics, couldn't we? I mean, there is life without computers and CS, isn't there?

Perhaps we are too conditioned at being "comfortable"?

But we must be careful when we begin to categorize. In doing so, the unspoken voices are not considered. I am refering to the
"most men" remarks. This is presumed only in the mind, according to ones own level of assumed knowledge or experience. No one knows what "most men" think, as ALL men have not spoken on the subject.

jvaski, I like it that you believe that they simply don't dream of love in a fantasy sence, because that is your reality in your own believe system and amongst the men you have aquainted yourself with. But believe me, they are out there! I have the not so fortunate experience of knowing quite a few of them.

Each is an individual with a mind of his own which is constantly changing as it goes through life experiences and we find out that things are not always as they seem. We grow, learn and change, through experiences. That's why we have them!

Everyone is not going to sit around reading self-help books and make decisions... "Hey, that sounds good, I am going to do that in my life". Then try to make it happen. Many do try and some may succeed, but the old saying rings true, "Experience is the best teacher". It will make a "believer" out of you!

I had these same questions myself, as I read this thread.
Shaman's do not tell, only to those close to them.
They simply make themselves available for use.

I am not a Shaman.
I will help others to gain understanding of the spiritual life which is available to ALL for FREE.
There are many Seekers.
