I always make it a point to try to never judge anyone...things are not always as they seem. It is not my responsibility to place judgments. As far as the alcohol....some just do not like the taste and there are some that are actually allergic to the things alcohol is made up of.
Was it hard for you to get rid of things that reminded you, or were connected to, your ex or SO when you divorced/split??? I remember that after I moved from the heartbroken phase to the anger phase...I got rid of almost everything...dishes, furniture, silverware, the bed, linens...ieven repainted the rooms inside the house. It seemed to make things easier somehow...and helped the healing process. I will say however, that it did take me some time before I was able to remove/change/eliminate these things. It was a 26 yr. long marriage.
