It was actually quite healthy.They would get three scoops per meal.One scoop of mash potato,one scoop of, say,brocoli PUREE,and one scoop of PUREE beef, with gravy sauce and topped with a little PAPRIKA.......for look.

Usually they had ice cream for dessert and the ones who's teeth weren't too bad would get some chocolate chips added to the ice cream,except for Mr.O'Neil,who had a pretty bad case of ALZEIMER'S,and thought the chocolate chips were pebbles.

YEARS AGO...I used to be a cook in a senior citizens home.

I was the one in charge of cooking the PUREE meals for the ones who didn't have teeth.

With the snow and all,it kind of reminds me of a story last year when a woman's car got stuck in the snow and I LIFTED HER CAR about six inches off the ground to get her out.It was -40 that day and luckily everything turned out ok,I even ended up getting a 2.oo dollar tip from her.
