RE: Is it a hate crime

Sorry...my mistake...I just wasn't too sure to be honest....so thought I'd better ask, not just assume..

Thank you by the way.......lips

RE: should I or not

Aww thanks Hexagon that's nice of you to say....and yes, unfortunately, I am one of the sensible ones....well.....99% of the time anyway lol.

Oh I don't know if anyone would give me any heed. ..anyway, who's to say being sensible is always right, sometimes being totally senseless is way more fun....well...according to some of my friends it is anyway lol..

RE: Well, that was a first time for me ...

Oh yeh ....and I was so mortified my farmer neighbour saw me I'll NEVER do it again lol......talk about embarrasing.. blushing :

RE: Is it a hate crime

Now that made me laugh... I bet you made that girl's day...

rolling on the floor laughing Now that made me laugh....bet you made that girl's day...

When I was about 35 - ish..I had an old man get off his bike and walk alongside me . He said he just had to stop and tell me that I had the best legs he'd ever seen and that he was a WW2 veteran and from the generation that knew a good pair of legs......(it was a hot summer's day in the UK and I was wearing very short shorts). I was really taken by surprise and didn't know what to say other than blush and say thanks...that it was very nice of him. We had a little chat and then he jumped back on his back and went off on his way......I still smile when I think of that man. No fella my own age was ever able to beat that man's compliment, it was so genuine....boy did that generation know how to compliment a woman...

RE: Is it a hate crime

How do you feel about some like minded people getting up a petition so you can hjave your own live TV shows and radio talk ins, and a few magazine columns and stuff ?[/quote

Eh??? I'm not sure if that's you being sarcastic or not...but if you are then I'm a bit baffled as to why?

RE: How is society coping with this pandemic overall ....?

It must be really difficult for people cooped up in apartments with no balconies and only dull concrete buildings outside their windows... and more so if they've children. The cohort I really feel sorry for are those who have older children with serious mental health issues and were normally attending day care...or those with seriously ill children who need constant attention and can't get a break because home help's stopped....

Personally I'd rather not have had to stay home 24/7 but, that said, I've little to complain about.

With a few exceptions, I think Ireland and the Irish have been absolutely brilliant. The gardai have been so good to so many people as have all the postmen and women who've been a godsend to the elderly. The local Centras and small shop keepers. The amount of people who're helping others out with grocery shopping/deliveries etc/ The notices on walls and telegraph poles with mobile numbers in case you need help..., they all make me proud to be Irish and I think the Government did us proud too. They didn't start bickering with each other, they put the people's interests before that of business and they didn't leave anyone homeless on the streets either....

Ireland may have it's problems, but when our backs are to the wall....we're a great little country...heart wings

RE: Is it a hate crime

Wolf whistling??? Ah now..that's a bit of a stretch...yeh it's great craic. Honestly, some people these days are way way way too sensitive...(not you, just people)

RE: should I or not

Personally, I would be inclined to think the nearer to one's own age the better. Once someone moves into the realm of two or three times their age (or multiples younger) then it gets a bit creepy and their motives may well be questionable.

You should do what makes you happy really...and not worry about what other's may think....However, if you do decide to go for some girl way younger than you then have fun, enjoy it, but be aware their motives may not be genuine...especially if they have no ambition, and/or interest in serious education, and/or future plans that involve hard work on her part.....run a mile from the femme fatales, regardless of age.

Best of luck with it :)

RE: Domestic Migration

Yeh it's sad to see a country that had so much going for it just crumble in front of our eyes....The me me me attitude that seems so pervasive in the US, bad management for decades, directing all the money towards the military and waging wars is crucifying everyone I suppose....

RE: This is how its done!

Grow up.

RE: This is how its done!

How old are you? 12?

RE: This is how its done!

What a vile human being. He's not a protector of the law, he's nothing more than a government paid and armed thug.

RE: A chat about eyes

Yes, many people are shy, but if they've something to hide you won't see it by their avoiding your eyes...that's just nerves or lack of confidence...if someone has something to hide they will just avoid you,.full stop lol....

Nope, why would glasses be a turn off?? Mean and/or character is a turn off, not a pair of glasses lol..

RE: Whatever Your Taste In Music!!

RE: A chat about eyes

God yes, absolutely I always look into people's eyes when I'm talking to them. It's rude not to and makes for a very poor exchange imo. :)

RE: Tinder Experiment: 18 Yr Old Woman Tries Being A Man!!!

Some, potentially most, don't even know what they want, never mind someone else..laugh

RE: Tinder Experiment: 18 Yr Old Woman Tries Being A Man!!!

God I hope not, that'd be an awful way to get any sort of validation.

I know plenty of women, and men (friends), who've used this online dating down through the years. Apart from two or three they all said the same thing, that they wanted to meet someone for something real and long term....

Even the ones who said they didn't want a relationship, or anything more than one night stands, soon changed their tune when they met someone they really liked. It's amazing how fast someone will do a complete U turn when the right person walks in the door and melts them with a big huge smile.

RE: Tinder Experiment: 18 Yr Old Woman Tries Being A Man!!!

That was an interesting video MustangWriter, thanks :) I'm surprised to see no one's made any comments at all... You'd think this is the one thread that everyone would have an interest in.

I noticed her first messages were all. "Hi how are you". and nothing else. That's fine in the real world and all that's needed to break the ice.. However, on a dating site it's probably the worst way to try and start a conversation with a total stranger, because it comes across as"Ah I can't be bothered ".(I'm not sayng they do think that,it's just how it comes across) or, that they no idea how to start a conversation and are hoping/expecting the woman to dazzle them with her conversation and keep it going. I've let conversations die for this reason, far too one sided.

No woman wants a man who's too lazy to write a decent sentence and no woman wants a man who can't hold a conversation. I can't imagine any man would want that kind of woman either.. So I'm not surprised she didn't get any replies.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it's all the mens' fault. I know women can be just as bad, if not worse sometimes, I'm just talking about the "Hi how are you" messages from a woman's perspective, that's all..

I'm just glad I'm not in my 20's, living in the US and trying to meet someone via online dating...it must be soul destroying for them. He was a lovely lad too, so I really felt for him when he said it destroys one's confidence.

RE: You cant win an argument with a Woman

Alledgedly, it's big hands - big dissapointment ...grin

Mini hands??? Oh you mean fun size hands.... grin

RE: You cant win an argument with a Woman

Ah ok, sorry my mistake, I thought his name was Fritz...

RE: You cant win an argument with a Woman

Ah stop would ya...she's just a child being a child..I say well done to her parents for having fun with her and not suffocating the character out of her. Future CEO in the making there...

RE: You cant win an argument with a Woman

Jesus, I hope that's not a reference to Joseph Fritz's daughter. There's nothing funny about what happened to that poor girl.

RE: I wonder, do any of those rioting and despising the men and women of history ...

To be honest and assuming I haven't misread your comment....we'd be much further advanced if it weren't for all the crap that went on and is still going on. The way education is set up ,the way very new and novel ideas are totally dismissed by the very ones who should be encouraging them. Oh and especially the way women in the STEM fiields were, and still are, treated to this day.

Then, as if that's not bad enough, the profiteering and closed source nature of advancement stymies progress even further. Education is a total disaster too these days, it also stunts development, progress and advancement.

We're not ahead, we're way behind where we should be.

RE: Ladies... Just curious. What designer perfume fragrance do you wear when you want to subtly impress?

Someone mustn't ever have had a girlfriend who knew the art of perfume grin

RE: Was Jesus White?

I dunno, he's your imaginary friend....grin

RE: Migrant crisis

In your opinion :)

RE: Migrant crisis

Is our neutrality not enshrined in the Constitution??

RE: \where has everyone gone??

Emmm sorry...I think that was my fault..I put my photos on public doh

RE: Migrant crisis

He doesn't, but even if he did, supporting some "regime" is not the same as invading and bombing a country into oblivion thus rendering millions of innocent people homeless . Ultimately it was and still is the US supported by the likes of the UK and France that created the migrant crisis, not Putin, not Assad and not any of the so called "dictators" the US like to demonise for wanting to keep their country safe from the rapacious greed of the west.. So the US and their cohort should take responsibility for the millions of migrants.

They always use the excuse that some leader, who won't fall in line, is a dictator and needs to be removed for the sake of the poeple and that's what the people want...so ...if that's the case then why arent they bombing North Korea?

RE: Migrant crisis

What you believe and what actually happened are two different things lol.....Russia didn't play any part in creating the swathes of migrants flooding Europe. Putin didn't get involved in Syria til the last minute and only after Assad pretty much begged him for help, triggered by US wanting to establish a no fly zone over Syria that would give them total control over Syrian airspace. France and the UK did help create it but nothing like the US. Murdering Gadaffi (US sanctioned and assisted) opened the flood doors for migrants from Africa.

Yeh there's been so much damage done to those migrants, their countries and their whole psyche at this stage, the effects will ripple for generations to come if not forever.
