Charity begins at home.

We can all support others without the need to donate money. Such a wealth of help is out there for others to benefit from if we gave of our time . Thanks for sharing Dan.hug

Donkeys are not normally unhappy ,but I get your drift. There are many ways you can support others without putting your hand in your pocket.

All people have a conscience though surely. Whether it pricks them or not is entirely another matter.dunno

Another good soul.hug Exchange of one's talents is also a way of spreading the love.[ Bet that get's misunderstood by some readers.]grin

We all have too much of something and sharing is caring Dino. The state of the homeless in the U.K. is unbelievable at the moment.

Putting a smile on another's face is always creditable.grin

The Donkey Sanctuary in Devon is inundated with finances from people, but the one near me depends on it's fund raising and helping hands and they do a great job in rescuing neglected animals. Donkeys are only unhappy due to human neglect.handshake

Love that idea Dino. Giving pleasure and gaining funds.

So much people could do to help others like walking someone's dog ,taking in a hot meal etc. Spread and share the love I say.hug

Charity begins at home.

An old adage and one that many question in this age of donating to the needy.

We read much that people are angry at their countries donating vast amounts of money to "Third World " countries.

What is your take on this, and are you a charitable person in general.? What have you done that would be considered charitable without the need to part with money?

RE: Do women prefer to date older or younger men?

It's a two way stretch if you'll excuse the pun ,and the operative word is love which seems to be sadly lacking in these posts.handshake

RE: Do you think age matters in a marriage?

Only the one then ?wink

RE: Do you think age matters in a marriage?

Sad thing is Dino ,it's not just about the adults when children are involved. I've seen first hand some marriages go pear shaped and then expect young children to accept the "new "partner no questions asked.sigh

RE: Do you think age matters in a marriage?

I'm with you on this one. Past experience of dating a guy , parting then getting back together when he had 3 children just didn't work. handshake

RE: Do you think age matters in a marriage?

Charlie Chaplin is a classic example of age not being a problem. After several disastrous marriages and a partner, he met and married Oona O'Neill who was 18 at the time and he was 54. Over 18 years they had 8 children and were together until his passing.

Love knows no boundaries or it shouldn't.heart wings
