RE: It's been nice.....

I must be boring as heck as nothing came up.laugh

RE: Is it me. I don't know

My personal life is not up for discussion.grin

Being proud of one's roots is creditable and we really shouldn't knock people back for caring about others whatever their convictions.

RE: Is it me. I don't know

You need an update in Irish history. Have you forgotten the lack of care from the British during the Potato famine. The Whigs sat back and did nothing ,nor did the British landowners occupying Irish land.

The famine was a watershed in the history of Ireland, which from 1801 to 1922 was ruled directly by Westminster as part of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland. On a scale comparable to the Napoleonic Wars, the Great Famine in Ireland was amongst the greatest losses of life in 19th-century Europe.scold

RE: Reaching Out—(Cat issues)

The safest and best way to find out if it is your pet causing the problem is to have a skin allergy test. It's easy enough for a medic to do and should settle the issue as to what is causing the rash. To develop an allergy 5 months after ownership seems odd as allergies usually manifest with a few days..

Have you changed your laundry liquid or powder recently, or eaten anything different or any sea food ? We can develop allergies at any time to certain foods or products. I had a dreadful rash a few years ago which drove me mad and I've always used non bio washing products. I changed to a plant based product for my laundry and the rash disappeared. Sometimes companies change the formula .

Don't give up on your pet just yet ,just try to resolve the rash then deal with any other issues . Good luck and I hope you get to keep your pet as they are precious .hug

RE: Are you a one dimensional person?

Better to be considered scared and ugly rather than look scary and actually be ugly.grin

RE: Is There A CS Member From Salisbury?

I don't want to spoil it for you but the person who chased this incident was Tracy Daszkiewicz [ played by Anne -Marie Duff] She is a Deputy Director of Population Health and Wellbeing at Public Health England.,and was formerly the Director of Public Health and Safety for the county of Wiltshire, England, where in 2018 she played a leading role in the response to the Novichok poisoning of Sergei and Yulia Skripal in Salisbury.

Can't say I'd compare it to Covid though.

Enjoy the series.handshake

RE: Multiple Telephone Calls

We have a service in the U.K called the T.P.S [ Telephone Preference Service ] and it's free to use. All you do is register your phone number and it blocks calls that are unrelated to you preventing cold calling etc.

I'm ex directory so don't usually have this problem anyway.handshake

RE: Is There A CS Member From Salisbury?

At the time this was quite a scary incident but only one death happened [ unfortunate for Dawn Sturgess.]

As this has never been resolved with regards responsibility it's a difficult one to be honest. Salisbury is a place of great interest to tourists with its Neolithic site known as Old Sarum which goes back to 3000 B.C and the Gothic Cathedral. Hence the Government rush to get the economy up and running which happened after 3 months.

This is why they need to curb Covid in the UK as they are desperate to get the economy up and running a.s.a.p.. Trouble is it's being pushed too soon ,which is why we are still struggling. J.M.O.handshake:
