RE: No rights, but only privileges

@ The Mirror

I have glanced at your posts but not interested enough to read in depth ,as they appear to be of a certain mind set which does not sit well with me personally.

Any discussion is good if you can also see someone else's point of view, which unfortunately you seem unable to do, resorting to insults at certain members.

This is an open Forum and you will come into contact with many with different ideals to your own chosen path , so a little understanding on your part of others opinions would not go amiss .

C.S is not your personal pulpit.

RE: Eagles

I'm too grounded to be a bird, but there sure are a load of parrots on here.giggle

RE: Hiding the truth...

Hardly a comparison to the Nuremberg War crimes and quite insulting comparing a vaccine to war crimes.J.M.O.

RE: Are vaccines topics banned on cs blogs and forums like some political threads are supposed to be?

Sad to say that for some folks C.S. is their World.laugh

RE: Are vaccines topics banned on cs blogs and forums like some political threads are supposed to be?

I gather that it has caused huge controversy in the past ,so guess that's why some form of discretion is required.dunno

RE: Are vaccines topics banned on cs blogs and forums like some political threads are supposed to be?

Didn't think he had any.giggle

RE: Are vaccines topics banned on cs blogs and forums like some political threads are supposed to be?

Guess it's a better choice than indiscriminate.laugh

RE: Are vaccines topics banned on cs blogs and forums like some political threads are supposed to be?

Selective deletion I would say. Look how long your thread on the Palestine/Israel thread stayed up.dunno

RE: Vaccine

2 jabs doesn't give you immunity ,just makes it less likely you will die if you catch covid, though that would again depend on your state of health in general. handshake

RE: Hiding the truth...

Wowwow

Just a little tip for you as a poster.

The dialogue reveals the character, and the character determines the dialogue. Dialogue is a wonderful way to show characterization, and also the relationships between your characters. Not only what people say, but the way they say it, gives the reader quality information about your character.handshake

RE: Can women go with drama in their lives?

Lots of drama which is why I pop in and out of the Forums and blogs.laugh

RE: share, it helps.Mental Health

I can understand that Butterfly and yes there are some decent folk about apart from ranters.grin

My response was to the O.P who stated he was suffering from anxiety so I questioned his wanting to be on here where responses could cause more pressure, though I doubt it somehow.wink

RE: Can women go with drama in their lives?

Tomcatty will be thrilled he loves Corrie.laugh

RE: share, it helps.Mental Health

Surely this is the last place someone with anxieties would want to be.

No I'm not having a dig just trying to put things in perspective, as comments from some posters leave a lot to be desired to be honest. Name calling and debasing someone is hardly good for one's morale.sigh

RE: March 17

I had a severe case some time back which knocked me sideways Mikey, and frightening when it went South onto the lungs. I was and am healthy so I don't think anyone is immune from flu or Covid.

I can understand people being wary and yes it is a choice we make . As for politics I'll pass on that one.laugh

RE: March 17

Absolutely Mikey, but the flu is mild in comparison to this virus. When someone becomes ill with what is thought to be a cold then ends up on a ventilator a day later and it's switched off 3 weeks later that's not a bad case of flu.sigh

RE: March 17

Paranoia is no protection.grin

RE: March 17

Guess it's down to the individual as to how you respond to advice C.C. Being complacent is not on my agenda. I've too much to live for.

Just lost someone to this virus who had been vaccinated so not everyone gets total immunity .sigh

RE: March 17

Hello Mercedes

To a degree I am in agreement with you. This has been circulating for 18 months and people are still catching it ,even with a vaccination. Some medical know -it -alls would have us believe that we will be Covid free in the UK by August, others that we will never be free. I'm all for caution or we will go into yet another lock down.

We are all susceptible to any air borne infection ,and as you say having been vaccinated does not give us immunity. We all still need to be aware .handshake

RE: March 17

Good question.

Could try confused..comlaugh

RE: Conclusions...

I conclude that you have been resurrected . Whoopeehug

RE: Ego And Pride - The Comparison

So why are you logged on here then, arguing the toss and being obtuse. I responded to your insulting remarks addressed to myself.

You outsmart me. Do me a favour .rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing

RE: Ego And Pride - The Comparison

Had a feeling you might bring your pal into the equation.hug

I guess a lot depends on our own self esteem too.handshake

RE: Ego And Pride - The Comparison

True that Bod. I suppose it's more how one looks at one's own behaviour, but I do feel that they are separate emotions. Just my personal take on things.handshake

RE: Ego And Pride - The Comparison

Tell me something I don't already know. with your copy and paste attempts at intelligence. Their electricity comes from Normandie.https://www.jec.co.uk/about-us/

You really are something else aren't you. Hoisted on your own petard as usual. doh
