My 2 cents worth as an outsider looking in on American politics
Since time immemorial there has always been deep rooted division in your political system ,not unlike our own in some ways .
Your country has always had a huge rift between Republicans and Democrats as history shows and with a massive population of half voting one way and the other half the other way, nothing will ever change sad to say and the hatred will continue.
Will your country ever find the peace it so badly needs ? Who knows. I like this quote by the famous comedian Spike Milligan .Sums up the problem don't you think.
It's so easy to forget that the Earth is a celestial body and astronomy still has a say in what happens to us as a planet.
We have already lost species of primate in only a few decade, half of the tropical coral reefs on Earth have died, trillions of tons of ice have melted, the ocean is 30 percent more acidic, and global temperatures have spiked.
We really do need to be aware of the causes and effects of modern living if we are to preserve and protect this planet.
Just think at one point in time the Sahara was a lush green area.
