Well one can't only be 'against' everything Con.... every once in awhile you have to take a stand FOR something other than one upmanship... or what's the point? And that's what grinds my gizzard about you... what you are FOR you keep secret and I don't find that in the least bit honorable.
Alberta and Conrad know who I'm referring to... and I have tried to get the Zionists speak out of this thread... it's too late because they seem to love to wallow in it... what is to be gleeful about I ask myself?
If they will refute ANY information they have been given everywhere on the issue it's because IT IS THEIR CHOICE TO DENY THE TRUTH... THAT THEY ARE ZIONISTS... they don't give a damn about any other human life, but jewish ones.

That is not discussion or consideration of a situation... that is prejudice and bigotry... and it's on their side not mine.
No that's what you've done every time SB gave you proof.... called him a liar.. he gave you what he could find, considering there has been sketchy data on the palestinian side... even if half was as close to the truth as anyone could get... it is still too much.
I've tried being reasonable with you people.... but it's like pissing in the wind... you simply could care less about any human being that gets in the way of Israel... or anything but your own agenda for that matter.
Now YOU prove that Israel has had more death and suffering in the last 10 yrs than the Palestinians.
Actually I have, a Michigan loader and bigger than that one... and its very easy to see 4 people screaming and waving for you to stop... IF YOU WANTED TO.... he did not.
You people are a joke... there it is in black and white one little fact witnessed written down and verified and autopsied. If you deny ONE FACT you deny them all... and you have.
You are liars for convenience, atrocities make no difference to you, you have no honor or respect for reality, you are Zionists at whatever cost to any human life.
She was a demonstrator and so deserved to die right?
But the fact is if they had this total disregard for the life of one silly idealistic blonde American girl... multiply that times thousands for the brown Palestinian dogs.
Rachel Aliene Corrie (April 10, 1979 – March 16, 2003) was an American member of the International Solidarity Movement (ISM). She was crushed to death in the Gaza Strip by an Israel Defence Forces (IDF) bulldozer when she was kneeling in front of a local Palestinian's home, thus acting as a human shield, attempting to prevent IDF forces from demolishing the home.
In fact I was much more innocent then... hadn't yet realized that it was all out of our hands and has been for a long time.
Nutcase huh... like that matters?
What government, checks and balances?... there is no government, they're all either coerced or bought by the money and they make sure that keeps flowing. I mean you really still believe there are parties? Whatever.
All arguments are simply perceptions of a position or situation, just as most supposed facts are... even if you are standing right in front of it.. ask any cop with 10 eye witnesses... who should you believe? Pick the majority and HOPE they're right? They could all be wrong and the odd guy out, right.
We shade everything with our experiences and biases, and sometimes yes, we could both be right as well as wrong and just interpret the information with different words and affiliations.
Of course a little courtesy could go a long way in breaking down walls... but even that is in pretty short supply.. you'd have to break out of your preconceptions wouldn't you.. to even allow that? Could make someone wonder what you're scared of.
You know just because someone doesn't like a countries political conflict, that does not automatically mean it denigrates anyone who was a soldier in that conflict.
I don't agree with 90% of the conflicts my country has had since WWII... but I back our soldiers 200%.
Politics are one thing, doing your job with honor is another.
Of course Ginger, but that doesn't mean our ideas have to be cut in stone til death .... at the same time we have biases, we are hopefully still processing information and capable of absorbing some of that information... it's called learning.
A good healthy dose of doubt and curiosity should help keep the airwaves open for change and readjustment. Well I think so anyway.
Our brains are terrible at assessing modern risks. Here's how to think straight about dangers in your midst. By Maia Szalavitz, published on January 01, 2008 - last reviewed on October 29, 2010
II. We Fear Spectacular, Unlikely Events Fear skews risk analysis in predictable ways.
Fear hits primitive brain areas to produce reflexive reactions before the situation is even consciously perceived. Because fear strengthens memory, catastrophes such as earthquakes, plane crashes, and terrorist incidents completely capture our attention. As a result, we overestimate the odds of dreadful but infrequent events and underestimate how risky ordinary events are. The drama and excitement of improbable events make them appear to be more common. The effect is amplified by the fact that media tend to cover what's dramatic and exciting, Slovic notes. The more we see something, the more common we think it is, even if we are watching the same footage over and over.
After 9/11, 1.4 million people changed their holiday travel plans to avoid flying. The vast majority chose to drive instead. But driving is far more dangerous than flying, and the decision to switch caused roughly 1,000 additional auto fatalities, according to two separate analyses comparing traffic patterns in late 2001 to those the year before. In other words, 1,000 people who chose to drive wouldn't have died had they flown instead. X. We Should Fear Fear Itself
Why worrying about risk is itself risky.
Though the odds of dying in a terror attack like 9/11 or contracting Ebola are infinitesimal, the effects of chronic stress caused by constant fear are significant. Studies have found that the more people were exposed to media portrayals of the 2001 attacks, the more anxious and depressed they were. Chronically elevated stress harms our physiology, says Ropeik. "It interferes with the formation of bone, lowers immune response, increases the likelihood of clinical depression and diabetes, impairs our memory and our fertility, and contributes to long-term cardiovascular damage and high blood pressure."
So we had better have a dang good reason why we defend or oppose something before we jump to conclusions simply out of habit or history or group think... it could be harmful to our health in more ways than we think. An open mind is a terrible thing to waste.
Cognitive = of or pertaining to the mental processes of perception, memory, judgment, and reasoning, as contrasted with emotional and volitional processes.
Bias = often supporting or opposing a particular person or thing in an unfair way by allowing personal opinions to influence your judgment
List of cognitive biases.
*Framing by using a too-narrow approach and description of the situation or issue.
*Hindsight bias, sometimes called the "I-knew-it-all-along" effect, is the inclination to see past events as being predictable.
*Fundamental attribution error is the tendency for people to over-emphasize personality-based explanations for behaviors observed in others while under-emphasizing the role and power of situational influences on the same behavior.
*Confirmation bias is the tendency to search for or interpret information in a way that confirms one's preconceptions; this is related to the concept of cognitive dissonance.
*Self-serving bias is the tendency to claim more responsibility for successes than failures. It may also manifest itself as a tendency for people to evaluate ambiguous information in a way beneficial to their interests.
*Belief bias is when one's evaluation of the logical strength of an argument is biased by their belief in the truth or falsity of the conclusion.
If more people would understand that honor has gone the way of the dinosaur when it comes to manipulations and money... there are endless secret deals and agendas going down everyday... and it's getting more and more blatant.
As far as I'm concerned it's a disgusting betrayal of our men and women serving in good conscience, in harms way, for what they believe is right... while ending up being tools.
Used in the process to kill thousands of innocents all over the world for nefarious agendas, power and greed.
There is no reset button for 'dead'... it's been game over for too many.
