I've never figured out how to get a video to post in the forums. I have a mac, think that makes a difference? And someone told me to use the 'enbed' link under the video and not the page link? Still no go.

THIS WAS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE A JEW THREAD !!! The "Inside Job" film had Jews on both sides of the spectrum and plenty of white bread too, that wasn't the point!

It was supposed to be understanding the nature of our politics today and showing how far astray from DEMOCRACY and a government by and for the people has gone... for profit and power.

I agree completely... we had a wonderful local newspaper back home for 30 years and a very astute owner/editor with a fire for truth and reason in his belly... gone 10 yrs ago, bought up and homogenized for the most part... now, just add little league and high school football scores. The same has happened to radio stations and local tv.

No CSPAN, I don't live in a hotel or have cable, I don't really watch that much tv... guess you haven't ever seen Italian tv?

What government fed media??? Always extremes.. who said anything about that.. just truth with as many voices as you can muster... much harder these days with the huge media conglomerates filtering everything.

All well and good ttom... but reality is none of them did more than hint at the real trouble we've been in financially until it was a done deal and are still diverting from where we really are and what is really pertinent.

The opposition in itself has done nothing but distract from the real issues that are affecting the face of America.

Maybe what I was trying to say was that maybe BOTH SHOULD HAVE BEEN SCREAMING BLOODY MURDER!

Frankly I don't watch many US news outlets daily. Maybe some Time or Newsweek during the month to see a more involved view, I have no idea if they are liberal or conservative... but for everyday news update information I use BBC world news. With occasionally others showing up if I google something... even Al Jazeera.

I follow Fareed Zakaria because he seems to see the reason and repercussions in whatever situation worldwide... I have no idea what you would call him... he just makes sense to me.

The fact is I would prefer unbiased facts... I can't help it if they aren't always easy to find.

Cut and paste? Why? You mean they sound so very different than what I have been saying for months now?

As far as my opinions being applicable to this thread on a conservative viewpoint, I thought they were pertinent, we're talking about Fox aren't we, they have a particular agenda don't they? I suppose I tend to think everything IS connected today... don't you?

And why Canada refused Fox... it was a judgement call.

If fomenting division between people in America while using inflammatory rhetoric is viewed as responsible and 'conservative'.. I'd consider that statement oximoronic.


So you tell me what does being a conservative in America mean right now today?

Because we have given you reams of information that debunks what you think is 'Conservative' in the true sense of the word.... but if you refuse to look at any of it... so much for facts or your open mindedness.

We have debunked that there is a difference between Republicans and Democrats... revealed that it is and always has been about the money; who has it, what and who it buys and who is in control... and it's not us.

If you actually believe there is a difference between the two ideologies once they get to Washington, you are mistaken. There are NO IDEOLOGIES... there is only the money and the power it gives.

I think what it comes down to is... Naysayers and Truthsayers. You either refuse to look at the facts or you want to disperse them. Let go of the football team mentality for a second and individually and openmindedly look at the facts:

*The FED is a privately run bank which feeds the interests of the banking industry, not America.

*Wall St. has ponzi schemed the world because of lack of regulation.

*Bankers favor multinationals because they make them money.

*Money OWNS the USofA, not it's citizens or elected officials....

You have no choices and everyday more of your freedoms are trickling away from the majority of the American people including most who believe they are Republicans and conservative. .. You are cutting off your noses to spite your face... you are owned, just like, if not more than the liberals.

So where is your higher moral or ethical stance.. because you are saying that being an unbridled capitalist and confining and restricting freedoms more intensely than ever before is what you want for America? Tracker chips in human beings? Are we Cattle?... Think about that.

Because that is exactly what is happening. Wake up...follow the money and how much of it will get to you.
