Getting my stuff back after trusting a man online!

Thanks, I know this is a long thread but there's a part in the middle where I'm trying to talk about lessons learned and stuff... I still trust this guy enough to believe he will eventually take care of this issue. But sure I've been worried... as I said some stuff aren't replacable... anyway, it's also out there now to help people make realistic decisions - I was too stressed before and during the experience to think clearly...

Thanks, well the stupid part is that some things are not replacable... it may sound materialistic but I take solace in the things that surround me. But I trust it will work out soon and then it will finally be behind me. cheers

RE: NEW RELATIONSHIPS

Well you're repaying it now. A month later, cool.

RE: NEW RELATIONSHIPS

And as for spiteful comments, sorry but that's in your own head not mine.

RE: NEW RELATIONSHIPS

Right, well you just ruined a perfectly good day for me, goodbye.

RE: NEW RELATIONSHIPS

There's something about your sudden bouts of hissy fits that really makes a person want to run, you may not see it that way but I certainly felt like abandoning the sinking ship when I was met with such straightforward hostility. But you won't want to see it that way so there's nothing I can say to defend my stand.

RE: NEW RELATIONSHIPS

Yeah well I really wish it wasn't happening here in public, it's vile.

RE: NEW RELATIONSHIPS

Hey, I wasn't saying you can't comment, if you read stuff carefully you'd see that I was backing you up as well. I also just observed someone leaving as a result of your comment but I also agreed I wasn't in on all the details. I still don't think I was doing anything to harm you but apparently you hold onto resentment. I don't know why and it's not a nice feeling. Makes me feel I'm walking on egg shells around you. May I remind you that you had said everything was fine then you backstabbed me. So can we take it easy ok?

RE: Fans of German culture

Well Heimat wasn't a detective series but it was strangely alluring in its attention to detail and how it ran for two whole hours each time... you really had time to get engaged in the stories... I actually miss it!!

RE: Fans of German culture

Yeah they are diligent and hardworking, that's for sure. Unfortunately their reputation isn't always quite deserving of the real nature of many Germans, I've known a few really nice ones too.

RE: Fans of German culture

Personally can't think of any German director apart from Wim Wenders, now that does sound Dutch though! laugh Stationed in Germany maybe??

RE: Fans of German culture

Hehe well there you go... in central Europe people moved around a lot, now how the hell are you supposed to know these things unless you look it all up in Wikipedia laugh now the question is, is he then part of German culture or just Germanic culture?? professor

RE: "YewEye & Venere08 Announce Their Tryst"

Well you did put it well; I wouldn't want to talk behind a friend's back either, or even someone on here for that matter... So I hope Ven knows I'm behind her no matter what happens, because we all learn... and sometimes things go well in life too. wine

RE: NEW RELATIONSHIPS

Ah well I didn't follow it THAT closely. But I suppose you're right, come to think of it. Tricky huh. I just reacted to Guiri chasing her off, he can be quite intimidating at times and that I know from experience... blues

RE: NEW RELATIONSHIPS

Come on now Guiri, diplomacy and kindness ok?

RE: NEW RELATIONSHIPS

Hi Sassy wave
But I understand it's quite tempting to, though... we shouldn't condemn curiousity either and Ghost was stating she was just curious. cheers

RE: Fans of German culture

... and Siemens.

RE: NEW RELATIONSHIPS

True, as I said I think anything is possible - so yes it makes sense not to indulge too much in people's reasons... life is life.

RE: The voyages and adventures of the Connectus and the Singulus

Cool, ok this mermaid beckons the boat to enter the Skagerack in misty weather... dangerous stuff... tight entrance... then voila, you're in! That is, in the Baltic Sea. And your mission; to save it from complete devastation, as all the fish are leaving because it's on its deathbed... and all this will involve dangerous confrontations with the ex-KGB and other vile figures (really dim, vacant and odd types who are obviously from some really mean planet just to create havoc) who roam the Easternmost coast (Russia, Estonia, Lethuania, Latvia) with EVIL intents to pollute the pearl of the Nordic scenery... You MUST save it!!!! Yes? grin And of course, the mermaid must seduce these evil figures in order to trap them! But how... that's your job! applause

RE: Are you... jealous????

Now where on Earth did you hear such heresay??? What a strange question...doh

RE: Fans of German culture

Oh and Bach and Beethoven, goodness that's quite the team already! violin

RE: Would you have this guy over for dinner?

Obviously not!!! I heard of someone who got a red vacuum cleaner for Valentine's and I said oops that's BAAAAD. But she had asked for it. I bet you didn't ask for the containers though did you?? Never heard anything like it actually... good story. Ditch him like the devil's son! No pardon here, you deserve gems and fancy dinners my friend! hug

Hi! wave how's it going? You're right, everyone has been quite serious which is nice and respectful. Maybe one should construct a movement against threadthrasherers? Though sometimes I've been in a funny mood myself... hug

RE: The voyages and adventures of the Connectus and the Singulus

Sure you can fit in a Finnish mermaid in there somewhere?? What's a story without one??? laugh So what do you want to know about my trade?

RE: Would you have this guy over for dinner?

No seriously, I AM sorry this happened to you. But sounds strangely familiar... like stuff I've come across too, just unbelievable stuff. And it's quite common that they can't keep the act up after a few months or sometimes a couple of years. But plastic containers???? My god.... frustrated

RE: Would you have this guy over for dinner?

This is one bizarre story... I want to feel compassion but it makes me giggle. It just ain't real... what's wrong with people these days? Landed in a UFO?? Not you, the guy.... confused

RE: Where is everyone??

Well you live in Somewhere so it's only natural to be deserted when people can't find their way there... I bet it's a desert! laugh

RE: NEW RELATIONSHIPS

Youth certainly helps but many of us "old enough to be your mothers" have done it too. Read my thread on the interrants and see for yourself... when you've looked for the right one for so long you tend to be a bit desperate laugh takes a bit to slow down and not push things TOO much. All in good balance yaknow.

RE: NEW RELATIONSHIPS

I think you need to have been there to get it... comfort

RE: NEW RELATIONSHIPS

Honestly... feelings are very complicated and so anything is possible IMO. Some feelings are real, but some are imaginary and some aren't even real after we've met someone... The equations are infinite. JMO.
