i wonder does anyone still have their school uniform and put it on occasionally!
mine is a 15year old scarf...it's been on a lot of travels with me. tried to 'recycle' it a few weeks ago and ended up putting it back in the drawer,,,
completely agree..the only trouble is that the process is slow and we have to be patient when waiting for the next instalment of our lives sometimes..you don't get a tv like zapper to speed it up!
may i present the first stone thrown in this here thread...it was thrown at amity by the OP and as you can all see, written only the way a really classy lady would...
they have been living in mosney for several years, i imagine they have built up relationships between themselves over this time. part of the reason they would not like to be moved is likely to be that they are being uprooted from these relationships and the safety of the mosney centre. our government put them there, thus ghetto-ising them and left them there when it was convenient to do so. now, it's no longer convenient - and instead of gradually moving people out in a more humane way, they want to herd them onto buses en masse and put them in various places in dublin. in my humble opinion, these people should never have been left in mosney for so long in the first place. anyone feeling anger towards these people is misplacing the blame for the error. if the OP really has a strong dislike for what's happening, he should be contacting one of the politicians responsible not blaming the asylum seekers - they do not make the rules.
from 1816 to 1847... 2 million had left ireland for Great Britain, Canada, and the United States.
An estimated total of 36,278,332 Americans — over 12% of the total population and 20% of the white population - reported Irish ancestry in 2008. do you want them all back here so?
for more info on this subject and see how irish people were treated
these people have no homes..do you have any idea where even one person from this 'camp' has come from or what they have been through to arrive in such a place? have you ever looked into the eyes of a human that is dying or persecuted to the point of desperation? these people are not from gorta/concern land. it's very nice that you can sit at your pc and judge people from the comfort of your nice safe home in a country where you have the luxury to vote your leaders in and out of positions of power. it's also convenient for you that none of them are members of this site and cannot speak for themselves. if you don't like what i just wrote, ask yourself why? did it make you feel uncomfortable or happy that you upset people by writing it?
i'm thinking you could judge by - is she physically trying to run away from you? are her nails gouging the door to get out? if the answer to either of these questions is yes, then she means no!
if she's in your arms and saying oh no! oh no! yet holding you really tight like a vice grip..she's saying 'you're doing great' do you see where i'm going with this?
my gut feeling...if i had always followed it, i would have got myself into a lot less trouble and probably not be here right now..maybe i would have been here a lot sooner...
i wrote that...i'm a physicist!...actually it's a pack of lies - abottle of glue, some sticky tape and a fairy washing up bottle hold the entire universe together..
RE: How long have you had your favourite item of clothing and what is it?
cool! you'd better be careful where you wear it though!..
