Descriptions

I'm never cute,
nor adorable,
nor sexy,
nor sweet.

I'm not lithe,
not graceful,
not slender,
not luscious.

I'm a gambit,
a tease,
a quirk,
a mess.

I'm an option,
an enigma,
an embarrassment,
an icicle.

I'm me:
Complicated
Messy
Giving
Confused

Entertaining...Enduring...Everlasting.

Rambling

If.......
I cry, does anyone hear the pain?
I laugh, does anyone hear the joy?

When.....
I talk, does anyone listen?
I reach, does anyone reach back?

Do......
I plead, with your heart?
I ask, of your intentions?

Have.....
I gotten, what I need?
I made, a good decision?

Can.....
I give, of myself to another?
I make, a gift to you?

The dreams that come unto me as ethereal as the mist,
Beckon to my soul and give me hope that one day,
I will love again.

How

How do I reach for the stars,
When my feet are firmly planted on the ground?
How I let myself fall,
When I don't know how to get back up?
How do I ask for help,
When the hand I reach out might not be there?

I want to journey with a partner.
I want to feel the rush of intense pleasure.
I want to know the serenity that comes from peace.

How do I let my guard down,
When I am afraid to release my soul?
How do I say help me to know,
When I am unsure what I want to know?
How do I ask for the help,
When I am hurting inside?

I want to experience it all with you.
I want to find my other half of my soul.
I want to be completed.

Ankara

I wait as others wait...struggling to see...and to find release....

Those words have haunted me,
Chasing me as I dream.
This soul is ancient as all time,
Knowing no reason but what Ankara deems.
I've known this soul before,
Submitted willingly to his requests.
Been obedient to his love and knowledge.
Ankara is restless and in pain,
Yet I know I cannot soothe.
His soul and mine are not destined,
To reach in this here and now.
Yet, gladly I would steal one golden hour,
Away from time.
And wrap my wings around him,
And caress this soul.
Ease the pain that Ankara carries within,
Shield him from more, in that golden hour.
Each second blending into minutes,
I see unfolding before me, what our souls have been.
Ankara knows my name,
Yet I must not know mine, due to my shame.
For this here and now is my lesson,
My pain.
The golden hour passes and releasing,
Ankara from me, I set him free.
Waiting sadly, yet gladly, knowing
That Ankara knows my soul.
Knows that his pains is,
But a moment in the eternity of time.
I know our souls will meet,
When destiny has decided,
That my lesson has been learned.

Cliche'

Yesterday is tomorrow's today~
Fricking cliches!
Hard to heart~
You ain't so smart!

All your ducks in a row~
Stop it now! Just go!
You want all the bells and whistles~
That's like saying "I love thistles!"

Thinking outside the box~
Okay! You're an ox!
Ain't no sunshine when she's gone~
It's like saying "No dusk, no dawn!"

Yesterday is tomorrow's today~
Please enough! Just go away!
Stupid, annoying cliche-speak~
Enough, enough! You babbling geek!

Random 3

Oppressing others will.....
Plotting out revenge.....
Taking a stand for and against.....
Is it my WRATH?

Hoarding my pennies.....
Acquiring excess treasures.....
Wanting more.....
Is it my GREED?

Putting off until tomorrow.....
Napping away the hours.....
Playing on the computer.....
Is it my SLOTH?

Giggling at the mirror image.....
Brushing out my hair.....
Standing with head held high.....
Is it my PRIDE?

Ogling at the "eye-candy".....
Thinking of stolen kisses.....
Igniting passion.....
Is it my LUST?

Wondering how you got that.....
Sending daggers to your heart.....
Wishing I did instead of you.....
Is is my ENVY?

Just another scoop of ice-cream.....
Overloading the bed with pillows.....
Hiccuping with the wine.....
Is it my GLUTTONY?

I wonder.....do I amuse you?
.....do I tease you?
.....do I annoy you?
I contemplate.....am I living?
.....am I happy?
.....am I neurotic?
I dream.....can I fly?
.....can I touch?
.....can I feel?
I hope.....that I may laugh.
.....that I may cry.
.....that I may love.

Nostalgia

Red chewy licorice vines,
Pink sticky bubble gum,
Dark chocolate candy bar,
Multi-colored sno-cones.

Icy cold lemonade,
Sticky sweet popcorn balls,
Pulling stretchy taffy,
Toffee hard as nails.

Hot summer lazy days,
Swinging in the hammock,
Running through the sprinkler,
Water balloon fights.

Singing by the campfire,
Slapping itchy mosquitos,
Diving head first into the lake,
Laughing at the monkey cage.

I think I have crossed off,
All things on my To-Do list,
The rest of the day is mine to enjoy,
And have the fun I did as a kid!
