LOVE FOR RENT

Love for rent, temporary not free
Rent this love for a large fee
Money from your pocket I will take
Real love I give never fake
Conditions are strict but few
Fact is there is just two
First this love is always mobile
To hope for a stay is futile
Secondly it never says no to cash
But really is your heart it wants to crash

One man + two women + three weekends = Disaster

He said good-bye with love and a kiss
Assured her she will be missed
"Three days and two nights thats all baby"
He walked away she smiled with love

He walked through her door with a smile
Hugged her close and kissed her right
"All yours for three days and two night"
She clung to him feel blessed

That is the pattern for the next three weeks
He thought he was smart and slick
"I am the man, no one knows"
But that was just for awhile

Modern technology is good and bad
Something he learnt the hard way
"What time you coming home on Friday"
The message was read while he slept

The wife walked away vowing vengence
His home so perfect is broken
"Nothing was worth this, now I know"
Too late was this realisation

She was in for a short time only
After all there was also Mark, Harry and Ed.
"I can't give it all up for you"
Disaster has kissed him hello at last.

Isle of Connectingsingles; Poetry Lane

On the Isle of Connectingsingles I stood
This place makes me feel oh so good
I think I will take a ride today
Down Poetry Lane if I may
A Redex gave me direction
Though I know not my destination
Off I go in my Bentlee of Lavender Blue
I stopped for Earl Grey Tea at Cafewo
Here I listened Freepoetry by Poetnumberone
I met Elo69 a really classy woman
She had a Dreamwolf called Fellona
And was headed to meet Thelmatalla
She offered to show me around
We rolled out to a Jazzy sound
As I drove she hummed a tune Da-dy-day
At number nine I met Niah at play
I was introduce to quite a few residents
To name a few, Macduff5, Marikia and Lorentz
I felt I went on a Pilgrimageoflove not a ride
So on Poetry Lane I now reside

Start Right or End Wrong

He said, "Hello I like you"
As an opener that would do
But he doesn't have a clue
Out of his chap these words flew
"I just want to make you mine today....
Lets eat, drink then go play..."
I look him deep in the eyes and say
"Already ate and I am not thirsty okay"
"Oh! And by the Way...
When I play you don't have to pay"
He really wore those jeans too
But what was a girl to do
It really made me feel blue
Thinking he just wanted to screw

WRONG MOVE

The door bell wrong once again
She's tired of entertaining Ben
This is the third time he's rung
And she has just taken off her tong
A warm bath await her tired bones
She has turned off all her phones
To the door in a robe she trod
Ben handed her a toad and nod
She screamed, swore and cried
But she couldn't hate him if she tried
He skipped away with a silly laugh
Interrupted once with a hoarse cough
Back to the bath she went
A prayer upwards sent
Even as her woes she vent
A long soak her only intent

BING! BONG! BANG!BBBBBBBBBBBBAAAAANGGGGGGGG!
Again her doorbell rang
Temper soaring, she marched to the door
Water followed her along the floor
She did not care if he was only ten
She was fed up with little Ben
She yanked the door open mad as hell
Then through the ground her heart fell
Lights flashed, camera's rolled before her eyes
Someone informed her she had won a prize
With mouth opened as wide as her robe of red
She silently wished she was truly dead
They all thought she was surprised
Little could they have surmised
With shame her feet were crystalized
As her worst nightmare was realized.

Kiss Me For A Favour

Though it is never spoken aloud
These words are very very proud
In this world we call home my dear
It is a motto that we live, love or fear
At work we see the promotions
That always caused commotions
And though many will not bravely say it
The one who "Kiss Me For A Favour" did benefit

Just before you smirk, think with care
Upon this thought that will raise a hair
How many leaders in our society today
These words on their conscience play
Because the contracts publicly televised
Behind shady, unscrupulous doors were devised
Some will forever go unknown or uncovered
And for a few someone will resign or be retired

Females were the target of these words for years
They have shed their clothes and many, many tears
But alas! Equality have caught up with the Alphas
They now have their "Kiss Me For A Favour" dramas
Believe me I don't rejoice but I am glad a wee bit
They were after all the founders of this habit
And as the table turn, it is interesting to see
Each "Kiss Me For A Favour" proud honouree

"Kiss Me For A Favour" that is all I ask of thee
But be careful what the favour will be

They Both Love Her

He thinks about her every minute of the day
What's she doing, saying and/or wearing
Is she smiling, frowning, talking or dancing
Is she walking, He just loves her hips' sway
She is so wonderful even if a little uncaring
She is his all. To him she is simply amazing

She thinks about her every waking minute
What to do, what to say and when to do so
What to wear, just how to give the right smile
There is only one person to whom she will commit
No matter who is in her life, Frank, Tim or Joe
After all they are there only for a while

A perfect couple! That is what everyone say
A compliment they hear everywhere they go
Their goal is the same that much is true
To make her the happiest woman alive each day
She must have all highs never a low
Or he will surely be left sad and blue

ONE LAST TIME

He is going to walk away that is for sure
His things are packed and at the door
His memories are in the bedroom still
His watch tells him five minutes to kill
He turns around, open his arms just once more
One last time he hopes his memories will cure

She watched him packed heard his excuses
Knew it was not time for tears or abuses
But she felt the embers dying inside
Knew her heart was torn open wide
She saw him turn around and hoped
One last time she wish she could cope

One last time lasted all night and a day
Together they climb the stars in foreplay
Loved the clouds back to their linings of silver
They shook, they slept and loved every shiver
Each knowing that yet again they have lost
Like they have done so many times in the past

One last time they carried his luggage in
Unpacked and threw the wash back in the bin
They never made any promises just agreed
That once more grief their lives have freed
How long neither knows nor do they really care
This last time might be a week, a day, a month or a year

Ever Thought About It

It is politically correct to say,
It is raining but not it is sunning
And if is rains cats and dogs to all
Why does it not sun mice and cheeses
Surely you have wondered about these things

She was nicely dressed in a blue dress
Why wasn't he nicely pants in a pair of Jeans
It is okay for her to dress up
So why isn't he pants up
I have really pondered these happenings

We put the boat asea all the time
Yet we never put the cars aroad
On a boat we get seasick
Yet on the road the car get the blame
These are errors we should correct.

Why is it we never walk out of stuff
We ran out of sugar in the house
We ran out of gas in the car
Or maybe we can start jumping out even
That would be something now would it?

If I cough and sneeze I caught a cold
When I am better should I not have let go of it
Or thrown it away, or something like that
Logic! If I caught it then I let it go
Yet we never say one part right!

English Language is either devious or
It is just an outright liar
One falls head over heels in love
Should one fall heels under head out of it
I just never hear that and I could really go on

But I will leave you to ponder
Why we park in the drive
But never drive in the park
Why we recite at a recital
But never sing at a singal
Tell me have you ever thought about it!

SOME ATTENTION

Give me some attention
Let me enhance your education
Today there will be no dictation
Nor will there be any hesitation
I will talk with no abbreviation
Just give food for meditation
Minds are suffering starvation
Others have gone on vacation
Still some are here in agitation
Taking negative penitration
It is time for a realisation
My mind, your mind is an ammunition
That should be armed for confrontation
If it makes our universe a better destination
For the upcoming, dynamic new generation
We have many modes of communication
Many exotic modes of transportation
But what about the mode of transformation
This will take some determination
From every being in every nation
And here is something I forgot to mention
Many have put their minds on detention
Because they are afraid of action
It is time for positive addtion
And long past time for negative subtration
It is time for a united proaction
Stop the disjointed reaction
Thanks for listening this fraction
Of a what could be a long narration.

Never Again (A Promise To Me)

Black thoughts, black testimonies and blacker memories
Haunted me through my days and nights of yesteryears
My life told in deep, dark, gloomy summaries
A smile I used to hide these big, black tears
No love, no loving, no true lover did I take
Or give for that matter cause I knew not how
I was dead, wanted to be dead so myself I forsake
But I pulled myself out of that dark age somehow

Not before I tried to ensure I was physically dead
Not once, not twice but three lonely anger filled times
And myself impose hatred with black memories I fed
I punished me though I knew I had committed no crimes
I did not want me, so I thought no one else did
No self worth, no self respect, no inner love
I lived in a body I wanted to destroy every day
So often I wondered what happen to the God above
Was he asleep every time I stopped to pray

But I crawled out of that dark tunnel on my own
Scarred thoughts, heart and even more scarred soul
I never knew I had such strength in me deep down
Though my memories have dark moments these I now control
Because I vowed to me one dark, lonely, rainy night
That I would protect the one thing of which I am always sure
And if it takes the rest of my life for me I will fight
From within my soul my own depression I learn to cure

I will not go back that was my promise to me
That night thirty six sleeping tablets refused to kill
A foolish girl who vowed of this world she will be free
She had lost her heart, her soul and her very will
God did not listen when I prayed, or so I thought
He protected his gift to me that self imposed final night
It was precious to him, hence with me he fought
Never again will I go back, now I know my future is bright

PERFECT

So you don't wear designer clothes everyday
You don't always wear matching shoes
You like ice-cream, cartoons and watching a play
You don't read weight watcher for diet clues
But you are who you are and was meant to be
So why would you want to be Andrea or me

You are not a lawyer, doctor or teacher
You a not a decision maker or politician
Not only does it that make you less of a liar
But it will make it easier to choose a religion
So why worry about it all or envy those who are
Something looks best admired from afar

So you bake bread or dance around a pole
Or you clean offices when all the high roller are gone
Nothing wrong as long as there is peace in your soul
Stop wishing you were hatched instead of being born
Let me tell you this you are PERFECT
And that closes the debate on this subject
