Bitter-sweet Missing

Plaintive and inexorable the last day drags us towards to its flat end.
Time, imperious and merciless points with bony fingers towards the deadline
And the atmosphere breathes down heavily with dread of separation.
The energy In the house sighs and slides with suppressed sadness
And my brain presses against the physical constraints of reality.
Fear drips slowly from my consciousness saddening the dank, limp November leaves
Whilst Solitude compresses my skull and the strange silence rings in my ears.
Missing you sorrow steadily whispers in timed staccato memories
As I roam disconsolate and disconnected through rooms that caressed time together.
Now empty of love, the walls are watched by familiar items standing guard
And I am followed listlessly by the tender wistful ghosts of our kisses.
Little splinters of loss break loose from my mind and stab the tender confines of my heart,
I curl tightly under the cold creased covers, yet there is no shelter without your warmth.
I seek the absence of sleep and my dreams curve around the gentle sweetness of your soul.
I cannot swallow for the missing you

Dreaming in Light

There’s a softness in the air, a transcendence
Tempering the harsh edges of unified thought
Lifting the dark polarity into purified streams of light

Brightness bridges are being made from careful construct
created from kindness thoughts and lofty intentions
So that tenderness can kiss each entity wide awake

Bliss is streaming forth into the deliberate consciousness
Blending into deep passion with dreams from the created real
Feelings are set alive, freed from constraints of unwise minds

Love is seeping into the seams of every soul
Diffusing down via the aura through the crown
Becoming merged and blissful in the body physical

She is dancing with tender now in the bright new reflection
Mirroring the essence and image of all that is
Causing the dark to quietly fade into its own illusion.

Touching home

On a steep incline damp with tears not few
There’s a little cottage through a mist of blue
The door is painted fresh and new
Inside the warmest hearth lit by kindness of you

In a little wooden hand made chair
That you made by showing tender care
There’s a place for us to rest and share

On the stove there waits a heartening meal
Watch as layers of cold from fear unpeel
Showing all that we can deeply feel

On a simple stove a kettle wreathes steam
An ancient lantern throws a smiling beam
Lights up all that we can really mean

Our Souls have wondered tired and far
Following their inner brightness star
Seeking each that they truly are.

Surrender (To John)

I Most humbly do beg your pardon
That I have caused your heart to harden
I am no man youth or lout
I do not have large muscles or clout
For I am small and sweet and light
I do not wish to kill or fight
I do not like to cuss or scream
I prefer to sit and write and dream
I do not like to rant and rage
Like an actor on someone elses's stage
I see this is an never ender
And offer you my complete surrender
I am no match for you I see
The war is won twixed you and me
I will do just what you ask
No matter how rough or hard the task
There is a tiny chink within your armour
The universal law of karma
My magic power I do not use to harm
Instead I would prefer to charm
Spirits of the dark I am not invoking
So will you please stop being provoking.

Thankyou

Hottish Not Haiku?

Familiar faces touch tender places
Heart contracts, fills and races
Fingers explore, touch, and meet
Breath of love, softly sweet
Tip to toe seek all to know
Wake alight skin lit glow
Wrapped round bliss
Search by kiss
Hands and arms
Her liquid charms
Cheek on cheek
Desire will meet
Heated liaison
Equal equation
Alive, beside
Give, with
We…

She is landing

On a sunlit summit on the ridge of day
A group of daydreams danced my way
Love is landing, they softly say
She’s touching down and is here to stay

She is arriving on a flight of sun
Mission that every heart is won
Her luggage is lined with hope and fun
Golden age has now begun

To see her you will not have to try
Or vacant loss of want and cry
Be born again to live and die
Wonder how and what and why

Wait, she’ll tip tap on your door
You will know it is she, tender sure
Yearn and empty are no more
Into the light each soul shall soar

Breath of Earth

Deeply and silent in pain she breathes
To her very life she daily cleaves
In dew and rain she quietly cries
Her tears fall from cloud frown skies
Her roaring foam flecked seas now weep
We did not her in safety keep
Each tiny fragile green grass blade
With tender care was custom made
sun smile power she will unstinting give
So every being can feel and live
Through tendrils of her mountain mist
By the light her face will soon be kissed
Gaze deep into her eyes so blue
Promise to take good care of you
In the skies of a magic star still dawn
So your every strength shall be re born

Lament of Love

There is a low keening sound
Carried through the air on waves of sorrow
Pure, incessant notes of loss
For love cannot be heard

Her spirit weaves its delicate tread
Tiptoes between the graves of dead hopes
Surveys all damage for her sake
For love cannot be perceived

Her ghost wails for infants born in her name
Generation upon generation
Each named with hope of lasting
For love cannot be enacted

Her reflection gazes through the mirror of longing
Illusions only are seen in return
Smeared and distorted with disappointments
For love cannot be understood

Needing and wanting mimic her soft voice
Desire and lust clutch greedily at her garments
Yet none will prevail
For love cannot be imitated

We are all connected

You may have heard it said before
that you are who you believe
and your want should not exist
that what you think should be, will be
and you create your own reality with your thoughts
I can advise you now
that your thoughts affect everything around you
everyone and every object, for all are in fact one
that you are consciousness
consciousness is the sum of these same thoughts
and all consciousness is the sum of everyone
that separation is just an illusion
and once you can perceive this nothing will ever be the same.

Touching Real

How should it feel, were I to touch
Places of you that I love so much?
How I should like to gently hold
A myriad of tenderness unfold.

Should I with courage bare
To show all that I care?
Would I allow you to see
Bittersweet transparency of me?

All of life’s cracks and knots
So many haves and have nots
And the vacant, empty lots

Layers of time hide all I can feel
One by one the hurts unpeel
Touch beneath for now I am real

Beyond our World

Beyond all this rush, rush, rush
Peacefully kind is the voice of the hush
Loving, inviting, eternal and lush

Safe in the stillness of the infinite deep
Rested above that dreamed of by sleep
Safekeeping each soul to tenderly keep

Everyday start will whisper with kiss
Reaches her arms beyond all that bliss
No atom of sweetness will ever she miss

Softness stretches past reach of harm
Infinite light in momentum of calm
Pours on love as the gentlest of balm.

No place soul

Dreams alive I touch, I feel
Slide beneath them into real
Gently smiling sweet appeal

Rested soft on pillow filled sleep
Slow down melt beyond the deep
My soul is open and starts to weep

Out of the vast a moonbeam shone
Lit up the infinite, tender and strong
Dreams, existence merge as one

Sparkle above a night filled sky
Dancing brightly beyond the high
Beneath the nowhere there am I

In another time when whole and strong
to my other part of soul belong
Breathe love notes into empty song.
