US Marine Scott Joseph Pemberton

He is charged of killing a Filipino transgender he met in a bar in Olongapo City. Not that I know him but if he felt he was shortchanged since the she is really a he, then he could have just turned back and walked away. But now he is charge with murder. If he was only sober during that time. who knows if he wasn't the one who did it even. I just hope real justice will be served.moping

Is The President the real Joe Biden or is he a stand in look alike fake Joe Biden?

All I’ll say now is that this was a very well constructed presentation. I found it well worth viewing.

Watch this video and judge for yourself.
It's a long video.
The theory starts at 19:00 minute mark.
The comparisons are at the 40:00 mark.
Don't make a hasty partisan judgement.
Watch, learn, absorb, and decide.

Michael Cohen is seeking your donations...

Among the news stories this morning, Michael Cohen, former attorney for Donald Trump is seeking your donations to pay for his legal fees. His GoFundMe page has a goal of $500,000 to help pay for he legal defense and has already received $50,000 from an anonymous donor.
It looks like 'the fixer' needs a fix laugh

The story I read stated "Michael Cohen Truth Fund" had raised more than $145,000 from about 2,600 donations.

Already spoofed, the real web address for the fundraising page, michaelcohentruthfund.com has a shorter version, michaelcohentruth.com, that redirects to Trump's re-election campaign website.

This could be an interesting month...

The Flood Upstairs vs Rain Outside

This early morning when I was been in hospital ,there was a large flood on the six floor made the floor looked like a mirror. Water flowed everywhere even in the wards and doctor 's office.I saw the woman doctor sitting on the bed like a fool in her office. laugh

The water was also flowed down stairs to the next floor. A water tube was broken cause of that. Then people had to deal with the inner flood for next 3 hours... All staffs felt exhausted except the doctor ... What a day!frustrated

In the late afternoon, on the way home, a heavy rain finally came with lightning and thunder.Thankful this first, heavy rain of this summer, made the heat air cool down, I like summer raining, but always scared of the lightning especially when walking in the street... now at this moment feel safe at home.laugh

Best wishes to you all! wine wave

Masks...

Up until last week, I knew about 2 basic masks used in the medical profession. The surgical mask and the N95 respirator mask.

Surgical masks are designed with a paper filter element, pleated construction and elastic ear loops. Usually in a blue or greenish color, sometimes available in white. Designed to be single use disposable, they are designed to keep your germs from getting to someone else.

N95 masks are a multi-layer white pre-shaped mask with elastic loops, usually in white and usually have a foam strip along the top to seal around the curve of the nose. Often used in construction to filter out dust, some models have a small exhaust vent to make exhalation easier. It's the N95 mask said to filter out coronavirus.

This is the style mask I used when sanding drywall in my home renovation projects. Because if it's effectiveness, it's the N95 mask the health professionals use and have a shortage of.

There are other versions of the N95 including some with a layer of carbon filter. From what I've read, a single N95 respirator can be worn all day.

Yesterday, I found a variant to the N95 as the KN95. From what I've seen, it's shape is different. Instead of the smooth curved appearance, the KN95 can be folded as the parts are somewhat angular. Resistant to water (where the N95 isn't) it is also oil resistant and can be used several times, good for 1 week.

All of these models are manufactured in China, but it's the KN95 I read is not allowed for medical use in America. I haven't found the answer... perhaps it's because it's listed as industrial use and not medical use?

More research is needed.

'Aviation Royalty'

The 'undisputed' Queen of the Skies is one beautiful sight to behold both on the ground and aloft. Indeed one of the most recognized planes on Earth, the Boeing 747 has broken so many records that I can't possibly mention them all in this post! With the introduction of the new and powerfully efficient 'twinjets' the 747 is no longer the choice of the airlines anymore. Most new orders to the Boeing Plant come in the form of the 'Cargo' version of this magnificent aircraft. What a shame because there is nothing like her in the skies, sure there is a slightly larger plane out there, but it in my humble opinion could 'never' surpass the beauty of this 'majestic' aircraft! Most assuredly a 'true' milestone of the air. "Long Live The Queen!"

Migrant Found Hanging from Tree in Texas 80 Miles from Border

Rio Grande Valley Sector Border Patrol agents found the remains of a suspected migrant hanging from a tree on a Texas ranch in Brooks County. The case is being investigated as a potential homicide, Sheriff Benny Martinez tells Breitbart Texas.

Brooks County Sheriff’s Office dispatchers received a call on Thursday from Falfurrias Station Border Patrol agents regarding the remains of a suspected migrant found hanging by the neck from a tree. Deputies and other law enforcement officials responded to the scene.

“We have never seen anything like this in our county,” Sheriff Martinez told Breitbart Texas on Friday. “We regularly find deceased migrants in this county, but never anything like this. This is what our deputies and the Border Patrol agents have to deal with here.”

Martinez said the circumstances surrounding the migrant’s death are confusing at this point.

“We aren’t sure if the migrant was hanged or if he did this to himself,” the sheriff explained. “We will have to wait on a full autopsy to figure out what really happened.”

The investigators reported both of the decedent’s feet were removed, most likely by animals. Deputies found one foot at the scene. A search will be carried out Friday to attempt to locate the other. Investigators also found two identification cards belonging to a Mexican male.

After documenting the scene, deputies moved the remains to the county morgue where they will attempt to obtain fingerprints from the severely decomposed body.
A full autopsy will be conducted by the Webb County Medical Examiner’s Office in Laredo, Texas.

Martinez said his deputies have processed the death scenes of nearly 100 migrants in Brooks County in 2021. In addition to the 98 found dead on ranches, the deputies also processed a fatal crash where 10 migrants died and 20 more were injured.

The 118 migrant deaths recorded this year compares to 34 found dead for the entire year in 2020, Martinez said. This represents a nearly 250 percent increase.

“I just returned from three days in our nation’s capital,” Martinez said. “We try to factually tell people how bad it is this year. Some seem to understand, but many claim we are making this up. This death, while an extreme situation, is yet another example of the tragic deaths occurring here.”

You Will Know the Truth Pt. 2

. . . and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel . . . . (Ephesians 6:19 NKJV)

See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ.—Colossians 2:85

*

True for you, but not true for me is a self-defeating and therefore false statement. You can prove this one conclusively to yourself today. Just drive 90 in a 55 lane, and when the cop stops you for speeding just say, “That’s true for you, but not for me,” and speed off. Since it’s not true for you, he can’t give you a ticket, right?—Frank Turek

*

Christianity, if false, is of no importance, and if true of infinite importance. The only thing it cannot be is moderately important.—C. S. Lewis

The Bible tells me so

Our convictions as Christians include that God exists, that this is His world, and that man is made in His image. If we are right, then reality turns out to be structured in a very specific way, and no skeptic can escape it. That’s the rest of the story. Unless a person is truly pathological, his language and his behavior will always betray his deepest beliefs about the world. Sure, emotions, prejudice, and bull-headedness may cause him to deny what would otherwise be obvious except when he is defending his ideological turf. But when his guard is down, every person understands that the basic structure of the world is the way the Bible says it is, at least in the broad strokes. Simply put, reason and rationality still matter, even to the postmodernist, regardless of his claims to the contrary.—Greg Koukl

*

From a Christian worldview, God doesn’t simply tell us what is righteous; He is righteous. Goodness and righteousness are attributes of His innate character. While it’s tempting to think there isn’t anything God couldn’t do, this is not the case. God cannot act or command outside of His character. He is innately logical and moral; it is impossible for Him to create square circles or married bachelors, just as it is impossible for Him to sin. Objective moral truths are simply a reflection of God’s eternal being. They are not rules or laws God has created (and could therefore alter recklessly), but are instead immutable, dependable qualities of His nature reflected in our universe. They exist because God exists (not because God created them or recognized them later). The Bible describes God as omnipotent and capable of doing anything He sets out to do. God’s choices, however, are always consistent with His moral and logical nature; He never sets out to do something contrary to who He is as God.—J. Warner Wallace

Knowledge has a unique and irreplaceable function in human life. Unlike any other human capacity, it authorizes individuals to act, to direct, and to teach, and the lack thereof disqualifies one in those same respects…. Knowledge therefore lays the foundation for confident and successful dealings with reality and, as such, is one of the most precious things one can acquire. People “perish for lack of knowledge,”6 as the Bible tells us, precisely because, without it, disastrous encounters, or lack of encounters, with reality are certain to occur; most importantly, they occur with reference to God, God’s Kingdom, and any possibilities for an eternal kind of living.—Dallas Willard
