In the first minute of the video Zaks states, “we’ve been living this phenomenal digital scientific revolution, and I’m here today to tell you, that we are actually hacking the software of life, and that it’s changing the way we think about prevention and treatment of disease.” [Emphasis mine.] He even repeats that they (Moderna) think of it like an operating system, which the Moderna website indicates as “Our Operating System”.

That's the whole point of isolation. If not, we all will be running around in 'Andromeda Strain' hazmat suits... even if it's a trip to the grocery store.
We need to see less new outbreaks... essentially flatten the curve.

The prediction was to see more cases, but yesterday the numbers dropped sharply.
Two of the county virus hotspots in the State of Florida are Dade and Broward Counties.
If you are not familiar, Miami is in the middle of Dade county and Fort Lauderdale is in the middle of Broward county.
Highly populated, both cities are famous for tourism and have international airports, seaports for cargo and cruise ships.
Since I own a home in Miami, it's a concern to avoid these areas as I'm now living in Palm Beach county about 50 miles to the north.
We are under a mandatory stay home order.

The team ensures “safety measures, medical care, communications, motorcade needs and logistics are all in place,” she wrote. They’re all “legally required for official travel,” she added.
But federal expense documents reported separate, additional costs for the advance team that added up to $18,000, according to Quartz.
The hotels are not identified in the expenses. They’re listed simply as “hotel rooms” under a heading of “miscellaneous foreign awardees” in the federal expense documents. There are six hotel charges ranging from nearly $12,000 to nearly $49,000, but the documents don’t offer details. (Other charges were for $16,000, $19,000, $35,000 and $43,000.)
The first lady was in Toronto to help kick off the Invictus Games, which Britain’s Prince Harry started in 2014 for disabled vet athletes.
A pool press report covering the Sept. 23 trip referred to stops that day at the Sheraton, the Ritz Carlton, a return to the Sheraton, and a get-together in the evening with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to watch the opening ceremony of the games at the Air Canada Center.
The first lady’s hotel stops included a 20-minute meeting with Prince Harry (at the Sheraton), and a reception later with 100 competing U.S. athletes, also at the Sheraton, where she gave a short speech, according to the pool report.
Trump’s visits began just after noon and she returned just after midnight to Andrews Air Force Base.

As of July 23rd, the Washington Post calculated that Dirty Don spent 110 days of his term up to then - golfing. While we don't know the exact cost of these pleasure trips to New Jersey, Virginia, and Florida, it is clearly in the $ Millions, perhaps over $50 Million.

The selfie stick is a telescopic cellphone (or camera) holder that has a triggering button on the handle. Most are actuated remotely by Bluetooth but some older models have electro-mechanical triggers.
The purpose of a selfie stick is to inflict pain on others... kidding!
Actually, the purpose of the selfie stick it to hold the camera (cellphone in camera mode) at a distance far greater than the reach of the person taking the photos/videos. Often, it's around three feet when fully retracted and gives the user enough distance to show a sizeable background with the operator focused in the foreground. This also is good for group shots of four.
Some selfie sticks offer a tripod base so you don't have to hold the camera allowing you time to setup your shot and not do everything spontaneously.
The drawback to selfie sticks is many places (especially tourist attractions) ban their use simply because they are... correction, the people using them in public are annoying to those around them.
