You are not alone with that feeling tho there s lots ...it's not Easey being made unemployed.,..my contract finished in work after 5 great years working with the elderly,,,missed the social aspect of it was out and about every day on the bus along with my colleague the bus driver collecting them from their homes,,miss the Craic and banter with my workmates,miss the money ,,I just have to change my routine,,,I smoked more at home when finished in work ,then I gave them up....it's good to talk about it tho the way you feel now,,,feeling are just a bunch of feelings that change one second to the next,,,but if you find you don't feel like getting up out of bed and not wanting to talk to anyone and it lasts quite awhile try talk it through with someone..

Remember it's natural your feeling down at the moment you have had a big dramatic change to your life and circumstances have changed now,,,,try talk to someone you trust,,,remember the most important thing for yourself and that is be kind to yourself and think of the things you can do even if its just going for a walk,,,staying indoors alot will get you down even more,,mind yourself and yes it is okay to have feelings of feeling down in the dumps,,,but not when it lasting and preventing you from going out to even visit a friend or relative,,if your up to it you could try just helping a friend a neighbour ,charity work,,,evening class anything to try distract yourself from getting too much inside yourself to the point of isolation,that is not good,


Just take it Easey on yourself ,,try get good sleep eat as healthy as you can,,weekends can be bumers just say to yourself well I'm not missing anything and this feeling I have now will pass,,

Even chatting on here is good,,just don't bottle it inside ,it's good to talk you know.

I'd get a big loan say farewell to all my family and don't cry for me be happy they had the chance of me in their lives,,,leave enough food in the fridge for my adult son and daughter,,,leave my ring to my sis,,,go off somewhere on my own like lionesses and dogs do when they know they dying...I wouldn't want anyone around me when I'm dying...then they can come and collect me when I'm dead and no way would I want my ashes in some churn ,,,on the mantlepiece.
