Reindeer Herders Find ‘Completely Preserved’ Ice Age Cave Bear Remains In Russia

Reindeer herders in northeastern Russia discovered the preserved carcass of an Ice Age cave bear in a discovery that Russian scientists said was of “world importance” in a statement Monday.


Scientists at the North-Eastern Federal University (NEFU) in Yakutsk, Russia, said the preserved bear carcass was found on Bolshoy Lyakhovsky Island in the Lyakhovsky Islands archipelago. Local reindeer herders transferred the carcass to NEFU after its discovery, CNN reported.

The bear was preserved so completely that even its nose and teeth were intact, the statement said. The bear could be seen bearing its teeth according to photographs released by the university.

“Today this is the first and only find of its kind — a whole bear carcass with soft tissues,” said NEFU scientist Lena Grigorieva. “It is completely preserved, with all internal organs in place including even its nose. Previously, only skulls and bones were found. This find is of great importance for the whole world.”

Maxim Cheprasov, a senior researcher from the Mammoth Museum laboratory in Yakutsk, added in a statement that radiocarbon analysis would be conducted to determine the exact age of the bear. But a preliminary analysis determined that the bear lived between 22,000 and 39,500 years ago, USA Today reported.

The team of scientists determined that the cave bear belonged to the Ursus spelaeus, a species of prehistoric bears that lived in Europe and Asia during the Pleistocene period and went extinct roughly 15,000 years ago, according to CNN.

Obama - “Don’t underestimate Joe’s ability to f--k things up”

Despite the best-friend bond Joe Biden touts with former President Obama, tensions have lingered between the two statesmen over their vastly different governing styles, according to a Politico report.


To start, a number of anonymously sourced quotes from Obama leaked out throughout the 2020 Biden campaign where the former president allegedly expressed doubts about his former running mates’ fitness for office.

“Don’t underestimate Joe’s ability to f--k things up,” one Democrat who spoke to the former president recalled him saying.

When lamenting his own diminishing relationship with the current Democratic electorate, particularly in Iowa, Obama reportedly told one 2020 candidate: “And you know who really doesn’t have it? Joe Biden.”

Some Biden aides pointed out that, when Obama’s endorsement of Biden in 2020 finally did arrive, it didn’t have nearly the energy of his endorsement of Hillary Clinton in 2016.

“I don’t think there’s ever been someone so qualified to hold this office,” Obama said of Clinton in 2016 in an endorsement video. “I believe Joe has all of the qualities we need in a president right now … and I know he will surround himself with good people,” Obama said in Biden’s endorsement video.

And while some senior Democrats credited Biden’s ties to Obama for his strong relationship with Black voters, Biden has emphasized that he earned their votes all on his own. He told aides after his South Carolina primary win Obama hadn’t “lifted a finger” to help him.

Going back to 2016 when Obama glossed over Biden for Clinton when he expressed interest in a presidential run, Obama aides tried to frame the president’s snub as an act of compassion: Biden-- grieving the loss of his son Beau in 2015 -- would not be mentally equipped to handle a campaign.


“But numerous administration veterans, including loyalists to both Obama and Biden, remember it differently: Obama had begun embracing Clinton as a possible successor years before Biden lost his son, while the vice president was laying the groundwork for his own campaign,” the Politico report read.

Obama “had been subtly weighing in against,” Biden himself recalled in Promise Me, Dad, his 2017 book.

“I also believe he had concluded that Hillary Clinton was almost certain to be the nominee, which was good by him,” Biden wrote.

It's a shame that he is so filled with hate that tries to justify his crass remarks with feeble excuses for his unconscionable behavior.

Somebody flew a plane under the Mackinac Bridge.

The U.S. Coast Guard is looking for a pilot who pulled off a dangerous stunt under the Mackinac Bridge in late June when they flew a plane underneath it.

In a video captured by a Coast Guard small boat crew floating on the water at the time, a camera pans from left to right as a single-propeller plane skirts above the water descends low enough to fly under the bridge before it continued to fly.

A press release from the Coast Guard's Great Lakes district said detectives from the authority were looking for any photos, video, or any other information that would help them identify the aircraft.

A Michigan State Police detective noted that hundreds of cars were on the bridge at the time of flight, which was around 2:50 p.m. on June 28. Many drivers were likely on their way up for the Fourth of the July weekend.

"This was extremely reckless behavior on the part of the pilot, and it imperiled the safety of everyone on the bridge that day," said Detective Sgt. Gary Demers. "We hope that someone can come forward with information to help us make sure it doesn't happen again."

Real life if Biden elected

It is Friday afternoon, May 3, 2023. You haven't eaten in a couple of days but it is payday and your credits were just added to your implant. As you stand in line at the food distribution center, you listen to the government-run radio station reminding everyone to tune in for tonight's Presidential address.

Meager rations now in hand, you walk the three miles back to your home because you can't spare the two credits for a bus ride. Once you arrive home, you turn on the television to watch the government-owned news network. The reports are the same as they have been for months. Another 800 deaths were reported today in your district. The COVID-X virus is sweeping the FSSA after millions of Chinese-made masks were discovered to be laced with the new Super-virus. The big story of the day is yet another proposed increase in the White Tax. This will take even more of your weekly credits.

The Presidential election of 2020 is history now but it’s not one that will ever be forgotten. Joe Biden made it through almost a full year of his Presidency before he suffered a debilitating stroke that left him incapable of speaking. President HARRIS is scheduled to speak tonight in her weekly briefing. You don't really want to tune-in, but you know you'll lose too many credits for not watching.

You shuffle through today's mail and open an envelope marked "Official Notification from the Federated Socialist States of America". The letter reads: "You are receiving this letter as the recorded owner of two acres of land located in District 9 of FSSA State No.16. Our records show that your property has an active water well capable of providing more water than you are allowed under the Water Conservation Act of 2022. You are hereby being notified that your resulting water tax increase would exceed the amount of credits you earn. An agent of the FSSA State No.16 government has been scheduled to install an automated water restriction device on Monday, March 6, 2023. You will be scanned for all costs associated with this effort once the work is complete."

As the reality of this notice sinks in, you stare blankly at the television for a moment while you remember the great memories you made in this place. This is only the first step toward forcing you to move into government housing and you know they will not let up until they have full control of your property. You have been expecting this for weeks since the government enacted the new Bourgeois Eradication Act. You've never been a wealthy person but in the eyes of the FSSA, your property ownership gives you too much individualism and an unfair advantage over others. You take out your cell phone to call your only living family member. The others were beaten to death in the election riots of 2020 while trying to get home from the grocery store. You know this phone call will cost more credits than you can afford but you just need to talk with someone. A weak sounding voice answers your call and you immediately know something is wrong. You're told that your family member also received a letter from the FSSA but this letter requires the immediately surrender all stored food supplies because gardening violates the Food Availability Act.

The sound of an engine is heard outside. You put down the phone with the call still active, grab the Glock you managed to hide when the rest of your guns were confiscated, and slowly approach the door. You see six uniformed men, all wearing blue UN helmets, approaching your home and each is armed with an AR-15 pistol. You do an admin check of your Glock and swing the door open...

On November 3, 2020, one of the most important decisions of your life is due. Do you hate one man enough to throw away everything? Do you even care enough to get out and vote? The fictional story above could contain more truth than you might imagine. Choose wisely.
