This Friday I took a day off, because on this Thursday many-many years ago, according to an unreliable source, someone or other departed to the heaven. Thus, I've got a long week-end.

I totally love this concept :)

Before the pandemic, some places had adopted a 3 day weekend, working 10 hours each of the other 4 days. Some split the 3rd day off with 1/2 the workers getting the Monday off and 1/2 getting the Friday off. I suppose for those places that work 7 days a week, a similar thing could be done issuing a different 3 days in a row off per worker per each set of 7 workers.

Sounds too complicated :)

I working from home since previous March and will be doing so until September looks like. Hours are not counted: sometimes it's less, sometimes it's more.

Certainly, that works well. It certainly saves on commuting time & costs.
However, not all jobs can be done from home.
