Gift giving this holiday season...
The top of my list is a granddaughter, 10 years old and more toys and gadgets than any child could need. Mentioning the perplexity of the situation to a lunch friend, some woman (in a group with others) who overheard me said "Get her a gift card. That solves all your problems"I thought, it's a twist to someone (me) formally known as 'Uncle Cash'
My daughter suggests food and to get her a BurgerFi gift card.
I usually pass one of their restaurants on weekend travels and they have a bonus program for a limited time of a $5 kickback for every $25 in gift card purchases.
One less gift to think about.

My daughters loved to get them when they were young.
Small detail... the $5 kickback on gift certificate purchases doesn't start until next year.
Telling the cashier it's deceiving to announce a program where no one can see the fine print. It only got a blank stare. Obviously, it's something to mention to management... chances are they're already prepared to hear complaints.
I got the gift card at face value... no perks.
10 years old is a good age for appreciating a gift like this. It could have a massive impact on her life perspective.
I think I might do this next year for my grandchildren.
BurgerFi is an upscale burger joint where they (fake) brand the logo on the buns.
Hamburger, drink & fries runs more than $18 so she's got enough to treat 3 friends.
