The first photos of 2012
I took these photos tonight before going to the pub. It's been a day of brilliant sunshine and apart from cleaning out a fish tank I've spent the day relaxing. Have a good evening/ day everyone.

Happy Newy and keep your chin up...
I Oil Paint at Times and Clouds are one of my favs,Thanks...
As for camera, you will find two main camps, (Nikon + Canon, I'm canon)., but the main thing for you is finding one that fits comfortably in your hand.. You can also choose from Sony, Panasonic, Fuji and Olympus, as well as Pentax..
Olympus, Fuji and Pentax, but also Canon and Nikon produce very good hybrids, though I'm aware Panasonic & Olympus produce cameras with inter-changeable lenses.. However having a true SLR ,(single lens reflex - uses a mirror prism for you to see through the lens), is the main difference..
Bare in mind though, it is your eye of the image that matters most, not the tool, though by learning to use the tool, it no doubt gives you greater control and understanding of how to go about obtaining the effect you are after, but bribery with bird seeds is a great tool!!
Parti I love clouds and birds. I love the way the sun and moon shines through the clouds at times as well as the shapes. I think that the birds or even animals bring a photo alive.
Yash thanks for the advice about the camera.
And a Happy New Year to all of you.
Millay No that's not a pier. I can't think of what it's called now. The pier's in the opposite direction. I've got the photography club tonight so I won't be going to the Marina but I will try to get a photograph of the pier at some point. Brighton has two piers one of which is in ruins, that one is the West Pier and the Palace Pier where there is all sorts of entertainment. I won't go on the pier as I can see through the slats and I have a fear of heights.
