Of course woman should....
Go out aloneAnother friday night, alone at home ? Not something I think I can face tonight...
The problem is finding a reliable friend to go out with on a regular basis. All my friends are busy, live far away, are married, have kids or busy with their significant others but that shouldn't mean that single woman should be forced to a life of solitude sitting at home infront of the tv or on the computer...
We could go to the mall and shop for shoes, just browse around in a book store or even watch a movie alone...
How about a few hours in a favourite restaurant, take a book or magazine with you...
Confidence when going out alone is key ! It is hard to walk through the door alone at first, but you eventually get used to it
If a single woman can do almost anything else alone, why shouldn't she go out and have fun alone ?
Obviously we would be careful and take precautions for our safety...
But is a single woman going out on her own even unusual anymore ?

Put on the lippy and that new black number and go get em I say.
But we only fail if we stop trying I think... so I will date myself tonight and hopefully meet some nice people too
The last thing I need now is to suffer some sort of depression due to loneliness, so I'll take action
When I go out alone it is not with the intention to pick up men... but believe me I need to have my wits about me to keep away the undesirables and psychos that think a woman alone is out alone because she wants to get laid
Anyway, I'm not so sure I will find anyone to take home at the book store
One thing I know for certain is to avoid the religious section Maybe with a Karma Sutra book in hand I might stand a better chance of finding a suitable man to "pick up"
Now, shopping for shoes on the other hand, ummmm ? I can't seem to imagine how that could work
I just walked in, found an empty table, sat down and whipped out my laptop.
It is so easy. No one cares. Really! Go for it!
Once I went to a restaurant and it was jam packed. I looked around and saw an empty chair at a 2 person table and asked if I could have a seat. The guy was really nice and we had a good conversation and then I never saw him again. Awesome! You should try that.
Anyway, wear that black dress of yours and go out...
Spoil yourself to a night out and
party hard and you are going to meet and make
new friends....So go for it my friend...
I also think that it is not unusual anymore...
Well, good for you DW and enjoy your breakfast
My favorite thing for a night out is dancing to a Rock band or Salsa group!
Well, gonna hit the road now...
see ya all later
relaxing evening to you, hope all fine with you
Tange,
being single for woman expects her to accept herself, and being the best friend with herself. Woman does not need anybody to make her feel happy- she is able to do that herself.
Yes, I go out for shopping alone, yes, after shopping I feel tired and hungry so I have dinner and coffee - alone.
But I do not go out alone in the evening to bars ... I visit alone theatre or concert - when no of my friends or sister is free to go with me.
I am sure, sooner or later you will find friends of similar to go out and spend time on Friday evenings
All the best to you!
met with a friend at a local restaurant and pub but when he left, went to another restaurant by myself.
Walked in alone and the place was full of people, asked at a table if the table next to them was occupied (since there were still drinks on the table)
But they insisted that I should join them
I had a lovely evening... I was pleasantly surprised to have seen my cousin there and one of the men that joined the table was a primary school friend that I haven't seen in years... we had fun catching up saw many other people that I know that were there, including one of my favourite Chinese restaurant's owner (Mike), he was there with a friend, I danced the night away, mingled and spoke to alot of people... there was live entertainment, the people I sat with kept the drinks coming all night...and they took turns dragging me onto the dance floor.
I had a great time, then went home again... back to my loneliness
Going out can be fun
