My son's first day at work.
First of all on Saturday night I had just got in from work when my son walked in holding a trophy. He'd gone to an award ceremony and had won Young Player of the Year. He loves football, he plays the game and if there's a match on tv he'll watch it. I feel so proud of him.Yesterday was his first day at work. I had started my shift before him and when he walked through the door to start his shift he looked so nervous it reminded me of how I felt on my first day. He was put at the top window where they take the orders and money for the drive through. He was being trained to take the money. As it turned out the girl who was training him knows some of his friends at college. She told me later that he's a quick learner and that she enjoyed working with him. When we went home he told me that he enjoyed the day more than he thought he would. He has 3 shifts this week and maybe I'm biased being his mum but if yesterday was anything to go by I think he will do very well and this job will help boost his confidence.

Good news
He will get used to that in few days. I am happy for him!
