furball has been named Ollie....

and is a HUGE, sleek cat with golden eyes who loves his new mistress and doesn't remenber me although he was civil and sniffed twice at my fingers to be sure. Probably the chemo scent...He is settled and happy and gorgeous so I am glad.

Anyway, i saw M the osteopath yesterdayand she admired my bruises and inflammation. She also thinks that once we repair my 'wing' we can help my brain be a little less confused. I was happy, she does acupuncture and homeopathic remedies and twenty four hours of icing (in the right place) and arnica montana have already reduced the swelling and the heat that were the main features of my upper left arm.

I had planned to do a paste up of my print ads today and then I thought WHY? Your arm hurts and using one is not just a challenge, it is an exercise in frustration so why not just take the day off?So I have spent the day icing my shoulder and reading the latest Alex Delaware mystery to reach these shores. I miss my Barnes and Noble. Shoot, I regret not spending the money to ship my library home...re-reading books is fine by me if they are good in the first place!

Strange how things work, last october I rescued Furball and after many efforts to find him a home because a cat hating landlord meant I could not keep him he eventually goes to the woman who is now my osteopath and will be helping me heal. Truly, everything has a place and a part tp play.

Ah well, time for ice and arnica again, and perhaps some tea and toast as well...tea does not antidote arnica so I can drink it.

M said furball peed everywhere for the first month she had him- I felt really bad because he used a litterbox perfectly when he was in doors here -but she didn't seem to mind, he is fine now except for wanting lots of attention and affection, hey he had a rough childhood so I am not surprised. M is under his spell, so they are both happy - a good ending.

Great news on Furball Dorielle, and amazing that he is back in your life that way - strange things happen hey........

Im happy you seem to be healing well from your flying trip - you were lucky not to break anything from the sound of things too.

Is it just two lots of treatment left now?
