Holy Moley, is this 2012, or 1942 ???
I am astonished that in this day & age,there still exists such prejuidice.
And where do we see such prejuidice ?
At church !
In the article from ABC news a Baptist church in
Mississippi is refusing to marry an engaged black couple,
because.... they are black.
It seems that a lot of narrow-minded parishioners
petitioned the minister not to hold a 'black wedding'
in the church, because one has never been held there.
They threatened to fire him, if he married them at the church.
Now, I'm not one to condone any two people ruining a
good friendship by marrying.
But, refusing marriage IN A CHURCH because of the amount
of melanin skin pigmentation is beyond ridiculous,
especially in this century.
Leave it to SOME of those church going Babtists,
who AGAIN show their ignorance and stupidity.
I think they hold SOME of those Baptists under the water too long
and too many brain cells don't recover from the lack
of oxygen.
