This Kebab can be made with lamb,pork or other type
of meat which is skewered and grilled before being
served in in pitta bread and lettuce and onions.

Ingredients:

400g lamb loin cut or what other meat you'd like
Seasoning
salt and pepper
2tsps dried oregano
4tbsps olive oil

240g tomatoes
1/2 onion
2 red lettuce
4 pitta bread

Yoghurt Sauce
4tbsps plain yoghurt
60g cucumber
salt and pepper
1 clove of garlic
2tsps extra virgin olive oil
2tsps white wine vinegar


Directions:

Peel and chop the cucumber finely and sprinkle
with salt.Remove the stem from each tomato and
slice them crossways into about 8mm thick
round slices.Chop the onion ito thin slices,finely
chop the garlic.Tear up the lettuce into pieces
that will fit into the pitta bread.Cut the lamb
into 2cm thick slices.

Put the lamb in a dish and sprinkle with some
salt,pepper and 2tsps of oregano.Coat the lamb
evenly with 4tbps of olive oil.

In a mixing bowl put the cucumber and finely chopped
garlic,stir in 2tsps of white wine vinegar and
4tbsps of yoghurt and season with some salt and pepper.
Mix in 2tsps of extra virgin oil.

Put the lamb in a frying pan over medium heat and cook
until both sides have browned then transfer to a dish.
Clean and dry the pan and place it on low heat and
lightly toast the pitta bread.Cut each pitta bread in half
so you will have pockets.Put some lettuce,tomato and
some onion inside each.ut some lamb inside each pitta
bread and pour some of the sauce into the bread.Put
the kebabs on plates and enjoy.
