I believe I have no Faith !
Surely I cant be an atheist.
Is this statement flawed ?
Is it possible to not have faith in anything.
If you are an atheist who just Knows their is nothing Without proof,
then is this not the same as blind faith

Personally , I don't need to have a promise of everlasting life or heaven in order to be a good person or live a good life.
I look at these devoted people sometimes and wonder what they feel in their moment of death . I wonder how many truly go to their end trusting that they will go to heaven or have another life after this one ends.
Those of faith , for me can only be people to be admired , I have none at all, I just cannot get any .. I am not atheist or agnostic really , I just take life as it is , change it if i can , otherwise go with the flow. Religious people don't bother me , but what i always wonder about them is , if there was no promise of heaven , would there be religious people at all. ? saskia

Yes a fear of death seem to be inherent in all these structures.
I wonder If atheists ever fear it ? or is it a seen as simple fact.

To have faith in a material existence is limited by those things that can not be examined and explained. Not all material experiences have proof - they just are sometimes.

I am an atheist . When it comes to god(s) I and almost all atheists take a position which says "There is no evidence I see for existence of god(s) so I don't believe in god(s)". No it is not blind faith, if i tell you that there is some invisible boy over your head ...and you say "Hey I can't see that or no evidence so I can't take your statement as true" doesn't mean that you have blind faith. Simple as that :). Anyways a very nice topic you have started.

According to the Bible, inspired by a living God, FAITH is fruit of the Holy Spirit.
In other words FAITH is something unchangeable, eternal as the same Holy Spirit , which presents God Father on the earth after resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Faith, according to my spiritual understanding is Spirit, part of the HSpirit, given through baptizing.

If this is the case why are their converts. Would you tell someone not to convert to your belief structure because it would mean they were changing their Faith?

The faith , fruit of the Holy Spirit, is given only according to God s willingness for change of some situations or cases / wonders, healing.../.
