Veld Fires.
Here in the hot summer months runaway veld fires are are ignited just about every other week, naturally, and purposely as well as with ignorance at times.
The Nelson Mandela Metro firemen having their hands full trying to extinguish these fires. A headache for them I'm sure as i've sometimes seen them returning to the same area more than once. The smoke is the worst for us living on the verge of the city.
My heart goes out to those suffering with asthma when it comes in a thick grey cloud not caring what it suffocates in its path.
Not forgeting these guys too...
