Jean Stapleton, who most famously portrayed Edith Bunkeron the TV series 'All in the Family'
died of "natural causes" on Friday in NYC.
She was 90 years old.
She won 3 Emmys for her role of Edith opposite Archie Bunker ( Carroll O'Conner)
and subsequently was nominated for her portrayal of Eleanor Roosevelt in 'Eleanor, First Lady of the World'.
She also starred in the movies,' You've Got Mail', along with Tom Hanks & Meg Ryan
and also in 'Michael' along with John Travolta.
