Tropical Storm Chantal
My island is currently under a storm warning. Tropical Storm Chantal is passing by and blessing us with lots of rain. The center of the storm passed by around 8:00am and the time is now 8:53am So we are at home just waiting for the tail end of the storm to pass and hopefully no injuries to anyone. We expect rain and maybe thunderstorms for the next few hours. Luckily we still have power so just wanted to say hi to everyone. Hope you are having a great day!Storm Clouds

Yes thank you. I picked up a few extra supplies yesterday as our office closed early and thankfully so far all is well just rainy.
Thank God we still have power and water so just waiting on the storm to pass and the all clear as the island on shutdown until then.
Remember,don't take chances,those things are murderous!
Have experienced a few in my time.
I love the tropics and would not mind living there. It's the typhoons, monsoons and all those big wind and rain storms that scare the bejeebers out of me!
let us know when the storm has subsided , so we know you are ok --you are in my thoughts --F

Thanks for your well wishes. I just returned home from the office. Amazingly outside is still overcast although the storm has passed.
Prayers now for my Caribbean neighbors as the storm is passing by. Hope there are no major damages.
