THIS BLOG DOES'T ALLOW COMMENTS

I have been noticing lately a lot of blogs that are not allowing comments. please I am not trying to start up anything here,but am confussed as to why we can't comment on your blog..maybe because you can't stay on to answer comments,cause you should always respond to the comments that is the respectful thing to do. Or maybe you are afraid of the negative comments you might get and would not rather deal with it.I can maybe understand that,,but blogs are a lot better these days than years back where we lost so many from negative comments. I see some good blogs about poems, old fashion living, pictures,and just all some great things,,i would like to come back with just maybe a

or just to say a great blog..

once again I want to say, not wanting to start up anything here..but bloggers let us comment,,it just might make your day better..

I don't disagree with you that it binds us no participation, but then within the rules and guidelines, it is allowed. However, if all of us would just be writing what we feel and think and allow no one to join, why not just keep your own journal? But like Nam said, it serves the purpose if all the poster wants is to make a statement.

Ok Wen, lately I've not been allowing comments on my blogs coz I feel that I have nothing intelligent to reply.

Honestly, I can only come up with silly or inane replies and remarks therefore I feel it's best not to allow any comments on my blog.

I really admire some of the bloggers here who are so quick-witted and well-versed in so many things

My friend Mimi, why do you always equate of comments to those who are intelligent? Measure of good virtues and character are not those of intellectual gift rather what common sense you can share and I do find you most uplifting in all your comments. I think quite often people don't want comments because at the time of writing they are hurting, and can't handle negative comments at that given moment, they don't want anymore hurt when they read what others say that are not so nice.
I do agree with you about reading some stuff that would like to comment.

@ Titania,,,very good comment,,and that was one of my points that bloggers don't want the negative comments...I wish all negative could go away, but there will always be some...One good thing is negative comments are not as bad as it use to be here,, but they are still here and do hurt some..
