THIS IS THE BLOGS, WELCOME
I have been wondering for a while now when CS started their Blog program just how it would turn out. You all have seen where they have set up rules and their reasons for setting up blogs which I believe was in good spirits. Now look at the blogs and wonder what happened and now I wonder is this ok even though I don't believe this is what was intended.Do you think they knew it would go this way, or maybe just ignored what they intended to be so much different than what it is.
This is not anything against CS, I am wondering if this is just something that got away from them that was just to big to fix.
What's your opinion, is the blogs now what it was intended to be?

But either way, human nature is human nature, and if you are hoping that all on here with be pleasant and full of sweetness and light all the time, it's time to log off now

A Blog is a journal you may enter about your life, thoughts, interesting experiences, or lessons you've learned. Post an opinion, impart words of wisdom, or talk about something interesting in your day. Update your blog on a regular basis, or just whenever you have something to say. Creating a blog is a good way to share something of yourself with others. Reading blogs is a good way to learn more about others.
My point is do they except what is going on now on blogs as to what as it appears that they started off believing in.
Am I missing something in what they published.

Hi wen, I just cutted this out of youre blog, and count the word blog seven times... how can you say this is not a blog about blogs?
anywayes, no need to explain the point of youre blog about blogs, as I`m somhow able to read...
...and no, I don`t think the blogs was intended to be like this...
I think a lot of people gave up blogging because the whole blog-consept is wearing out...?
-and the few thats left have allready repeted most topicks at least three times each...
But like with the forum, I make the choice where I post. There are under currents I feel both on the forum and the blogs.
If your face don't fit... you are going to know it.
And you did answer no you don't think it turned out the way they intended it to be, and I agree.

I was just wondering if they ever expected blogs the way they are now.
As some have mentioned I is to their advantage the way it has turned out.

I can understand why some people don't bother with the forums. I think you just have to shape your own world on here.
I think everyone has their own reason to blog..

The ancient Guardians allow a lot of leeway and to some degree the blogs are also self-policing - bloggers take exception to totally ludicrous statements and argue, or will turn on the more unpleasant trolls far beyond what even a troll wants in the way of attention. There are many who blog only to a tiny select audience of those who share their politics or their religion, and are quite happy within their narrow groups, with most ignoring them.
CS may have hoped for, or expected, more of the love-me-please blogs
They probably think they got a good thing going here. You know like why fix something that is not broken.

Don't really know what to say but I do have noticed a difference in the last 5 years I've been here.
Now you can see why I chose to work with orangutans ?..and horses...and gorillas.
I'm also interested in the wild felines.
You never know, you might start a new trend.

the mad doctors crew I think blog as CS had intended, us regular crew that once may of used to, do it our own way now...to me this place is like moving along with change and the times now having said that, looking back is good as well... perhaps we've got the best of both worlds here
Then I checked the blogs before that and it is even worse. You can go back and check them yourself.
I do know that they have changed the format so many times already.

We, humans, are stupid, by design, and when acting as group normally we do prefer to "destroy" instead of building.
CS is a great platform , full of areas and features. even for the "nonlookers". (I bet when they googled blog, CS was in the top). No changes can work to control "humans".
