Profile Reviews
Whenever I buy online I always check the reviews on the products I am interested in purchasing. Likewise, when going on holiday I check the reviews of hotels, restaurants and such, then afterwards always post a review of my own.It occurred to me... Although this could be somewhat complicated, I wonder whether a profile review system would work for dating sites.... What do you think?

Ouch!
I am suggesting what Vivian has said whereby people write a personal review.
Interesting quotation : Whether a profile review system would work for dating sites...
I am not sure it would be appropriate to do that in dating site. Some people would feel bad when he/she gets "unpleasant" review on his/her profile. Profile review could lead to judging people and as we all know that judging people is haram
But it would be brilliant!
Reviews on here could be bogus and how sad for an innocent bystander.
I've given up looking at reviews. I like to try the real thing.

Either I have not explained the subject of the blog well enough or none of you are singing from the correct hymn sheet!

I never sing I hum.
Having said that, honest personal reviews here would be cool. But I don't think they would ever be honest. You like someone, you give them five stars. They don't contact you again, straight down to one star and a knife in the back!!
But Sola, there are testimonials on profiles. I don't think it is used much, though
What about if we have to attach some documents or certificates, etc...to prove that the profile is genuine? A reference letter from an ex-partner or two , divorce certificate if divorced, death certificate if widowed, medical certificate, etc...
On a personal note, if any ladies who like to share my bed I'll be happy to post a review of their performance, using scientifically formulated principles of course, such as style & stamina
The one I did purchase was difficult to set-up and I could see why some people gave it negative reviews, however once it was set-up it works perfectly.
I did meet a guy off here very early on. He never blogs but if he did read this and lash back it would be interesting. He was at least 10 years old than his stated age and pic and told me 'everyone' lies about their age. He grew cannabis for extra income (quite a lot, if his stated £80K a year was accurate) and smoked his own product. A lot.
So how would I word my review tactfully but still warning his next date exactly what to expect?
yours is better.
Exactly what both of you are talking about is already here. Good comments, bad comments, accusations of fakery, all that. So again, Solamente, I am not understanding what you are asking got if it already exists?
You find the profile you like, then read the reviews of that person. What;s hard about that? Of course some members aRE smart enough to disable this on their profile, but many aren't.
I am aware that there exists a profile review section however it is more for people to invite comments. I am suggesting a review where people post experiences they have had with other members.
A simple review system would at least verify whether the profile matched the person in reality.
Example... Q.Was the persons description
A. Exactly as stated
B. Similar
C. Completely different
Sometimes a review will give an indication whether the real thing is actually as described on the box
Good idea, I was once a member of a site where some people posted a pic holding a piece of paper with the sites name written on and the date.
You could of course just post a performance quick summary of your experiences with all the CS ladies you have "bedded".
I shall cross check whether your summary tallies with those written about you!
Perhaps any testimonials should show on the profile main page similar to how friends are shown... that would be good.
That would suggest that there should be a certain number of reviews in place before it can be taken seriously.
Following rule 16 is hard sometimes. There is one person who when identified as a fake long ago, went dormant for awhile but seems to be back under a different persona complete with a new history. Yeah, sometimes one wishes to advise all and expose a nut who is a fake especially when they write hate stuff, but telling CS how we know is all we can do.
Regarding dating experiences, I am thinking you mean high school boys locker room stuff? Tales about who puts out and who doesn't? Hmmm, I was brought up with the rule a gentleman never tells. Interestingly enough I found out once the women knew I wouldn't, it worked out surprisingly well for me.
Every rejected weirdo would go ballistic. I have it switched off btw.
