Facebook People
For those of our older generation who don't comprehend why Facebook exists.I am making friends outside of Facebook while applying the same principles.
Every day I go down on the street and tell the passers-by what I have eaten, how I feel, what I did the night before and what I will do tomorrow night. Then I give them pictures of my family, my dog and my gardening and spending time in my pool.
I also listen to their conversations and I tell them I love them.
And it works.
I already have 3 people following me: 2 police officers and a psychiatrist.

What you're doing is good and I think Facebook is for those who maybe have problems socialising ?
I don't have Facebook ..Twitter or anything like that as I have friends in the real world .

How long are you going to keep the suspense going ? Or do we have to send the police ?

Facebook is a personalized newspaper for me, when I open it up I get casual news of what they are up too, can see photos of new relatives born far away and how they are growing up, it is like having them nearby. For sure my daughter wouldn't post me regular photos of her enormous puppy, or photos of her playing hockey. (She's extremely good!) I wouldn't see videos of my brother's kids competing in horse events, or playing sport. I keep in casual touch with nearly 70 people who have all been part of my life in a happier past, and if anything interesting happens to me, I pass that on too. I wish I had interesting things to say more often!
I completely agree my Facebook would be paralysingly boring for anyone who doesn't know them, but it is pretty interesting to me.
