Does romance have to have a price tag?

I've seen blogs and comments on romance - candlelit dinners, spontaneous gifts, trips away. They always sound expensive.

I looked at recent blogs to find romantic examples and oh dear we have all been a bit anti romance lately, haven't we? The only one I spotted was a holiday fling on the very very cheap. Whatever rocks your boat, of course, and a budget bonk is probably just as romantic as being wined, dined and treated as precious, but that's the thing, why should it all be about spending a lot to sound fun?

Romance CAN be a walk along the beach in moonlight.

It CAN be reaching through thorns to pick and present a perfect rose.

Romance can be learning your loved one's language privately to surprise him or her with a fluent message of love.

Romance on CS can be changing your search details so they only fit one person - and waiting for her to notice.

So here's a challenge to you - let's bring some romance back into this dating site. Something catch-your-breath romantic you've had happen to you, or heard about, or wish would happen - at little or no cost? Can we do it?

Legs,

Yeslaugh He always tell me I dominate his waking moments...sometimes I think he's a little delusional...I still can't understand whatever it is that he sees in me...maybe it's because I'm not like those classy women he dated, married and engageddoh laugh

One time, we cooked a very special dinner...he came out wearing really nice clothes and there I was wearing his t-shirt and barefoot waiting for him at the tabledoh rolling on the floor laughing
Funny, Crazy, I always picture you in that dress, and it is VERY glam - hard to think of you any other way.

Chrome, oh boy. I'll be drummed out of CS for subverting male members. sigh
Legs,

you're wrong, i'm very much comfortable in tattered jeans...and tight t=shirts...showing bare midriff you know...and flaunting hips and a**...that kind of thing that makes a man starerolling on the floor laughing
The only way to save your membership is to stop subverting male members instantly and to devote yourself to good works. That should do it?
Chrome,

what kind of good work ? I would love to volunteer too...about time I pay my dueslaugh
Haha you two are working together, very good!

Nothing I can say now. .
Oh well, that's me out. Night all and here's to romance wine
To romance. cheers
I had two spine surgeries and then cancer came along over a period of years. Lost employment. So I became poor....occupy myself studying and researching to hopefully produce a History book. Now what does this have to do with Romance. Well I was simply deserted.
This is not about poor me or why me.
It has taught me what it is to miss picking a flower, leaving an unexpected gift, holding hands, stopping for a kiss, to wake up knowing your loved one is there, this simplicity in a hug and falling asleep together......Romance makes your heart skip a beat. butterflies in your stomach, creates that I can't wait to see you feelings and the thought Yes I do have someone to Romance. Think of all the love that is lost in todays world because Romance is disappearing. Sad to think about from my eyes.
