Peaches, so true. But remember it takes two to tango, and for every male who thinks such things are important, there must be some female responding to them. Why else would men persist? And the downturn as you describe seems to have begun at the same time as did the dumbing down of the general government school educated populace. Compare the elegant writing of many simple enlisted soldiers in our own civil war, sending letters home, with the grammar, punctuation, use of words, etc., that we see today, even from folks who claim higher education. No time is wrong and likewise no time is right either. Its always the matter of perception and outlook.
In life, its like all or none law. Life, if its an illusion or real, then it was and so, is so, and will remain so for ever. And same is true for feelings as well.
