Think out of the Box
Thinking outside the box (also thinking out of the box or thinking beyond the box) is a metaphor that means to think differently, unconventionally, or from a new perspective. This phrase often refers to novel or creative thinking. The catchphrase, or cliché, has become widely used in business environments, especially by management consultants and executive coaches, and has been referenced in a number of advertising slogans. To think outside the box is to look further and to try not thinking of the obvious things, but to try thinking of the things beyond them.
Imagination, also called the faculty of imagining, is the ability to form new images and sensations in the mind that are not perceived through senses such as sight, hearing, or other senses. Imagination helps make knowledge applicable in solving problems and is fundamental to integrating experience and the learning process.

My first time was when I left home to go and find my path and I was considered the black sheep of the family for being different.
Then, throughout my teaching/psychology career I always used unconventional methods which were not always approved amongst others.
Have you ever seen the movie of Robin Williams "Patch Adams", where he is a doctor using laughter as therapy and founded the Patch Adams Clinic in Philadelphia?
Also the "Good Will Hunting", where he plays the role of an "unconventional" psychiatrist.
And "Dead Poet Society", literature professor with some really "weird" ideas.
Well... I identify myself with all those roles - and more besides.
Nice blog!
"Logic will get you from A to B. Imagination will take you everywhere"
I may have changed my profile - a little bit! - but not going incognito and not hiding either.
I like this quote: "Logic will get you from A to B. Imagination will take you everywhere"
Thanks for putting it up!
i think we all live in a box, size of box may vary on our knowledge and experience.
there is nothing out of the box, maybe something out of the box for us is an INBOX for someone else
I always admit it LOUD AND CLEAR that i know so less and so much has to be learned!
Hmm, I have no idea what Thinking outside the box means. Of course, I never knew what thinking within the box meant either.
I guess I'm not that creative, but I do write stories sometimes with crayons.
They were never meant as a criticism, but just pointed the facts. I have been watching you for over a year - sometimes from the distance, and others somewhat closer - watching your story unfold, and I learned to stay away in case of getting my head chopped off.
I also on occasion sent you some nice messages which you also turned down.
And now... here we are... a year later... talking about a topic which I can relate to but I am still confused.
U r my very good "think out of the box" friend, that likes making me smile. And u do it every time !!!
Yes we both can "Think out of the box", but r still vastly different from each other.
If you have never quoted anybody in your life, it is a harder thing to do than not to do as there are so many gems out there.
Think of the word "re-search" - meaning somebody has been there before you.
You have never had a "mentor"? Our parents, some family members, teachers, some friends are usually people we look up to for guidance.
Our elders usually provide such guidance and the rest we learn for ourselves.
There´s always a problem that every generation will re-invent the wheel.
STAY OFF MY BLOGS --> BACKSTABBER!
I said "I didn't want anybody on my friend list"! You see, you are misinterpreting things again.
And I thought you had changed??? Obviously not!
