Riddle me this (gardener's corner) (turns UK polit

why is it when you need to pop into the house to get something for what you doing in the garden, and you scrape your shoes on the wire scraper, and then on the washable mat, until nothing is coming away, they are spotless ...

why is it within 2 steps you are leading clods of mud over the lino and the carpet?

frustrated

Garden is definitely looking better. Kitchen lino and carpet are now in dire need of TLC.

Murphy's law is an adage or epigram that is typically stated as: Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong.
Blue, if I take a contract out on Murphy, do you know any good hitmen? blues
Crazy, these were fur-lined boots with tractor tyres, I need a boot-puller to get them off and it's a mission.

As to why I am gardening mid-summer in fur-lined boots and an anorak, I can only say welcome to Scotland.

Yes I also shed my shoes at the door usually
Ken, see comment above about Scotland. All 17 layers? dunno
Hola Biff, Ive seen special "pet rugs" that remove all dirt, might be a load of willies but worthy of investigation.
Another handy hint...use a shopping trolley and sit inside it, use the walls to gain movement, this way your feet will never touch the ground.
That washable mat, Map? that's one of those miracle fibre ones.

I want my money back snooty
Gypsy, that's deep, and I shall use it as an argument at all times! laugh

I'm big on going barefoot outside too, well, used to be, I value my toes and hate it when they turn blue. sigh
Map I would but there's quite a big fine for stealing trolleys here moping

I wonder if I could disguise it?
Well, if you track in with the boots on, Biff...and THEN walk barefoot, I imagine you will obtain some of the same benefits. head banger

The 'grounding' while walking barefoot outside is best reserved for warm weather....I agree. *nods earnestly
My house is going to be something pretty brilliant, at this rate, rioting meadow flowers and a barefoot paradise - come visit, Gypsy? Next spring, of course. Right now, early stages, it looks a bit of a mess. I shall be strong and not clean the mud up. daydream

grin

Biff, I know what you mean. I'm clueless....dunno
Tell you what, Gypsy, we'll just make up our own stories. They'll probably be at least as interesting and nearly as true laugh
I know nothing either

But really don't care either way laugh
Me too

Sleep wellhug
Omg. I have to apologise. I read your blog title all wrong. I read it as Ride me in the Gardeners Corner. I humbly apologise blushing bouquet
E I not have your dirt into house problem lol lol. I only wear boots at work and boots going out. At home I'm bare footed and just step into shallow water and wipe feet into towel and walla lol lol clean as lol lol.
Yuniksha - that's a good blog title devil

Too late to change the direction of this blog, though laugh
Daears, I'm going to get a second boot puller for the back door and stop being lazy laugh
I did read an hour or so ago that the gun looked home made, he's been arrested & his house searched, and that he shouted time to put Britain first, and despite being told nobody says this in a crime report I'll describe him as white British male.
I also heard the gun was home-made. Charming.
Well looking on the positive side of that at least he couldn't use it to take out half the town sigh
I'm getting pretty sick of crazies. They are multiplying, too.

Apparently it has brought the House of Commons to a standstill. All those politicians thinking help, if an MP everyone seems to agree was nice can get attacked maybe, just maybe, we are not loved by everyone?
Biff, I admire your confidence in the fact UK mp's give a stuff about what anybody thinks doh I mean it's not as though they're paid to represent us uh oh wow
Well, they cancelled lots of Brexit and Remain meetings! The thought has to have crossed their minds ... surely?

Up to now they've been taken to task with cross letters to the Times and being mocked by Private Eye, they're tough, they can take that.

Hang on, I'm being political. This will Never Do! roll eyes
It was a terrible thing, as Z says he couldn't take out anyone else, was a White British Male, The MP's should be scared, but a few days to go until the vote and we will see what will happen then.
That vote will definitely be interesting. The closer it gets, the further apart the two opinions get. Seems either way we are doomed to be stuffed a year or two down the line and one lot will be pointing and saying ha, told you so.

mumbling
I worked out the result of the vote today professor whichever side loses will blame anything that goes wrong on the public for voting the wrong way doh laugh
Oh, so it will be like living in Scotland after the referendum.

Well that's been easy roll eyes

I do hope the vote isn't THAT close but sheesh. Feeling is running high. Just one crazy so far trying to influence it his way, but there's, what, a week to go?
