My holiday list for the next 12 months

Jamiaca...anyone been..is it worth it ?...things to watch out for ?

South Africa..doing a 10 day bike tour..cant wait

New Zealand in a motorhome...any tips on where to go ?
..might pop in and see OLDBOY and give him a new hat.

Durban to Cape Town thumbs up Johannesburg to Cape Town thumbs down miles and miles of nothing and anyway going to be too busy trying to navigate around trucks on the N1 to see anything.

Hi Ian,
I haven't been to Jamaica yet, but I like the idea of it.
SA - Not yet.
NZ isn't on my list at all, nor likely to be. I have lots more places I would like to go before that would even feature.

When are you thinking of heading off on these trips?

Haven't been but my daughter, who is into photography, loved NZ. My partner who visited Jamaica hated it. The thing is that whatever might be to one person's taste might not be to anothers's. For instance, imagine LJ visiting Pakistan!! rolling on the floor laughing Anyway, hope you enjoy!

Map...yes that way to Johannesburg is much better. I avoid the N1 as far as possible. August/September is the best time to go up the West coast to Namibia. Rest of the year pretty barren accept for the part through the Cedar mountains.

Molly....I'm off to the Himalayas on a 10 day tour now with motomonkstgis October.....on motorbike..just decided that...next year will do south Africa guided motorbike tour..Not sure what dates..
