Not what it seems, or is it ?
"A 10-MONTH-old baby girl has died in Spain after her grandfather left her in the back of his car for eight hours"Bit of a roller coaster this article, man leaves granddaughter, 10 months old, in the back of a car in Spain, in summer, hanging is too good for him but read on, he went for a coffee & forgot he'd left her there, so poor man has trouble with memory not his fault But hold on, cars here heat up in less than a minute to maybe 50c+, who would leave a dog, let alone a child in a car under those conditions I can't think of a single place in Spain where kids are not welcomed with open arms, was it he couldn't be bothered to take her

I wonder do they have a deep-seated fear that the country will break up?
Poorer regions like Andalucia would probably be the losers if the more productive/richer areas like Catalonia and Pais Vasco got independence. I am sure those areas bring in a lot of the foreign investment & cash. If they go, there would be less for the poorer regions.
You were told not to take sweets from strangers.
But unfortunately, it is now known that it is people close to kids are more likely to be a danger to them than the stranger who will abduct them whilst out playing
Maybe kids are safer out playing in full view
From an outsider perspective it's easy to see why Spain lacks investment from big business, who'd want to invest in a country with archaic employment law, riddled with red tape & corruption, they could turn the economy round in a year with the right leadership but seems every politician once elected is just in it to feed from the trough
It was my mam and dad taught me to drive. First in a car park, then quiet country roads, etc.
But I guess now, with all the traffic on the roads, it is impossible to even get an empty carpark to practice in.
It worked well enough.
I have yet to have an accident anyway
