Change In Life

Hello Folks,

It has been a spell since my last post on my blog to you, not that I have not been thinking about posting I just got very busy with a huge change in my life.

I have been a magazine photographer in the past, it has given many accomplishments over the years but for quite some time I have felt it is time to change careers.

My dream has always been to have a online gift shop to provide unique gifts to the consumer, that is what I have been working on since my last post on here. My designer has my website almost ready to launch online, we need to set up the personalization of my products yet before it can be open to the public. I am offering a personal touch with my products at no extra fees, the consumer can make my unique products even more unique by a free engraving to the person they are pursuing the gift for.

Over the years myself and many others I have corresponded with over the years online have been a bit frustrated on special holidays attempting to find the perfect gift for the men folks on our gift giving list. My father is my most difficult person to buy for on my list, he is 75 years old and has pretty much everything he wants in his life at this time. This gave me the idea to offer a men's gift shop online for the men and all the ladies who have men in their life they find hard to purchase gifts for, hopefully this will be a nice success in making life a little easier to shop for difficult men with everything for others in this same situation.

Wish Me Much Luck On My Gift Shop

The Mysterious Singer!

I have always been a kidder. Especially with my precious Mom. She never got the punch line in a joke and she never understood the kidding or crazy silly things I would do and say to her. I loved to croon Spanish songs when she answered the phone.

One time I called her because I hadn't heard her voice in awhile so when she answered I started singing to her. She hung up on me and when I called her back I was still laughing and I had to quickly say, "Mom, it's me, Eddie".

Needless to say that became a classic story that we still enjoy to laugh over at family get togethers. And, of course, the silliness gets crazier as the story evolves from year to year and from gathering to gathering. BUT NOW! That we have all gotten old my 90 years old twin sisters get the story wrong and we still have fun with it with all kinds of imagined add-ons!

Today I called one of the 90 year old twins that lives in Colorado. I wanted to thank her for the timely $$$ gift! When she answered I put on my best "professional" sounding voice and she promptly hung up on me. I quickly called her back and said, "It's me, Ed"!!

We both busted a gut and the "old" Mom story came out again. After much laughing and silly comments we said our goodbyes. I called my sister Merc in Pasadena, CA and told her the story. Once more the Mom story of her hanging up on me came up.

Yes, mi gente, the family had a crazy mirthful afternoon. I just wished all of you could have been here to enjoy it too!!

Oh What A Day!

I had a fun late night with my son last night, went to bed at 5am.

@10 am phone calls woke me up...3 party invitations for tonight, 2 asking what time they can come over to exchange gifts , 1 asked what time I'll go to her place for some Christmas cake and exchange gift, 1 wants me to tag along with her and her bf to some party tonight...1 wants me to go over her place and buy something for her cos she's not feeling well, 1 wants to sell me ticket for some dinner for a cause....worst of all my son wants to go shopping for his Christmas presents cos I didn't had time to buy him...was too busy!

I dragged myself out of bed and ran to buy presents for all kids that are expecting gifts from me...to make it easier and to save time , I bought blankets for everyone , pink for the girls and blue for the boys. Unfortunately, my son didn't want any blanket...grin had to go to a far toy shop just to get this stupid slug terra gun he badly wanted, we found and bought it....it's a ripped off!

I ran home and clumsily wrapped all the gifts, some boys' presents got wrapped up in pink...I didn't have time so I guess it's fine, it's just wrappings anyway.

Took a quick shower, quickly get dressed and with still wet hair ran to deliver some presents here and there....tried my best to make those children's Christmas day a happy one.

Now at home, blogging while waiting for my friends and kids who wants to come over and spend Christmas with me and my son...not going to any party tonight, no time for it. I ordered Chinese foods and some cake so I will have something to share with them when they get here. I used to cook and bake every Christmas , this Christmas is an exception.

I don't feel like opening presents at the moment...I'll get to that later...

To top it all, my bf wanted to skype cos he's having a very boring Christmas in Scotland, I had no time so viber served it's purpose while I ran here and there. Will skype him later...he understands me, always doesgrin

It's a nice day but I just want it to be over and back to normal doh

I hope you're all having a great Christmas Day there. Lovelots, Jxteddybear

Love

I have much clearer feeling about love. Love means responsibility. I love my daughter,if there are good food, I could watch her finish most parts until full, I could work day and night to make sure that she will have a nice start in life, a good education for her future.

If some guy who loves me,I want us love and cherish each other. That is a good way to take care of love, and the love also enrich our life.

Love is not a easy word, are you ready for it?

Alas...

It's a bit funny talking about Dad's biological clock. Cos he always stays in bed, he mixs up the time of the day and night. Before he is a very punctual person. yay

At daytime, whenever the light is bright, the radio is on, even the noice from outside. Nothing can be effected him, he just sleeps tight like a baby except eating and drinking time. I wonder he is following his own inner body clock when to awake up and fall asleep now sigh So when after dinner he awakes widely and activety, his mind vivid and talks more -- he wants his shoes, he wants to get up to school or to work, or wants to go back to his" own" home... At that moment, all things passed before in his life came to appear to his mind again though all were the fragment of old memories. I had to talk with him in mess. doh

Funny thing would be happened, like once I talked to him; "You looked like an emperor leaning on bed watching TV." He replied:" you are the emperor! Not me." " Why? " "because you are sitting there." Ah, yes, from the images of our emperors, they all sat straight on their chairs...laugh

When it's time to turn off the light, he didn't like the light off and said that I am too stingy to save the electricity, sounded like I was a Scrooge. uh oh I had to say the electricity is cut off... but he didn't aware of the air conditioner was still at work.

One thing I had to admit that I made white lies to him someetimes to calm down his emotions. My mom passed for over 3 years which dad forgot maybe, she was the only woman my Dad often mentioned and looked for. In his deep mind, he still missed her I knew. heart beating Alas. I didn't know how to answer him when he mentioned her, I tried to avoid the word 'dead' , So a white lie is needed for both of us at the present time...

Bad virus is still there

So bad that I seem to overcome my fever virus, but my daughter seems to still have it. She recovered yesterday, but today, she was asked to do roller skating, and she had to wear the thin shoes for roller skating by the school teacher. I was very worried. I prepared some sugar ginger soup for her, I asked her so many times, she finally swallowed a little bit.She does not like ginger taste. She said it is too spicy. I gave her some coughing capsule and fever medicines.

I worry about her very much! This fever virus is very nasty!

The rich...

my fiance is not a rich man... he is my father's staff. I like him because he's charismatic and smart. I am not talkative and less smile and he knows how to make me smile...

rich man's easy to get women / men for dating but not easy to get women / men to marry. is that true?
