Immortality

Do we become immortal when our name and date of birth and death become engraved in a granite stone?

If you think about what stands the test of time.

Would you write your most important bit of wisdom on your stone for the future of humanity (provided there is a future of humanity)?

So...immortality is real then.

If you believe...even somewhat...in astrology

Then you would have to believe that the alignment of the planets and the stars have power/influence over human life and or behavior.

It is said we are entering into a new era. An era that is completely out of our hands and will be dictated by the universe and its alignments. It is said to be a sort of golden era on a celestial level...humans are to become Christ-like....I have heard it described. Secrets of one's thoughts will no longer exist, where people will be able to know what you are thinking.

If you do not believe in astrology, then perhaps you can explain how it has existed for 1000's of years. That's a lot of crazy people out there over a long period of time.

Speaking of crazy. I was at a major hardware store today and the worker lady said something I thought was interesting....I can tell later she was sort of embarrassed for saying it...because it really came out of nowhere. While we were behind the computer and she was showing me the list of materials available, she blurted out, "no wonder people are crazy these days." I forget what we were talking about...but it really did not fit with what we were talking about. Perhaps she meant I was crazy. lol

Maybe it is just around my area here. But there have been some weird things going on lately. For example, at the same store 2 days earlier, they only had two checkouts open and there were two lines of people in the store that went halfway through it...and it is a large store. I have never seen that before. My dad and I literally had to wait about 20 minutes to get checked out.

Just today, hearing sirens in town (and I live in a very tiny town) I learnt that there was another serious roll-over accident at the same corner...that accident being the second one there in the last week. Whereas, there has not been an accident there for as long as I can remember.

A couple of days back...I have known my neighbor since he moved in 2 years ago. He is always a happy go lucky type...always willing to help out...always seemingly happy. We were talking and he used the "F" word. I remember feeling a bit shocked by that...that is the first time I have heard him use it.

Greeting from Tula de Allende Mexico

Haven't checked in in awhile. I'm giving my COVID vaccination a good test by traveling through a bit of Central Mexico. I started in Guadalajara and I'm in Mexico City tonight, where I spent a week. A lot of people wear masks but social distancing is pretty hard. Especially on crowded city buses. I'm going to Guatemala tomorrow. It's good to be traveling again. In the middle of the photo you can see the Aztec ruins in Tula de Allende. Cheers.

Sometime it must be spring.

Dad used to look out the window and say that the last winter he lived. He made it and died in that April. Now I see another spring too. And I always say if I don't hit the ground running in March I am sunk. Like usual, it is half past April already. I busted back and got most of the flower beds raked. I hate oak trees!very mad
Haven't gotten barnyard on them yet, nor mulch from my wood chip pile. I set the hens to raking the one terrace and then the next when first was raked. They do good work and do it for birdseed. Problem is attention span. They work a short bit and then off to somewhere else. So it takes them days to do an area. But, easy for them to get under stuff and then all I need do is gather the piles they make.
I drove down the road. See the woods has that pink blush. It is caused by the shells of buds. The next is the green blush and then it seems over night it is BAM! Green woods. I noticed the lilacs have leaves a quarter inch already. Daffodils are in bloom. Grass in the meadow is greening. Nature is in its usual rush to start and get on with it before winter.
I brought seed containers up. Should start some soon. Lettuce sounds right. So much work ahead. Set buckets ready to plant. Buy plants. But, this is the time of hold...raining and 50 today and half the week ahead. I remember digging out and not making it home til the next day in the blizzard that hit mid April in 73. Suckers!rolling on the floor laughing doh
I have kittens everywhere the moms have hid them. Hens are laying almost a dozen eggs a day. ENOUGH already! Here, have a dozen eggs. YOU need them!!!frustrated
Time to clean the wood shed and start to fill it again. Fields need to get tilled. Weeds killed. The farm dictates life. And nature.

Back in Mexico. Yeah

I'm vaccinated and ready to travel again. I have been in the Lake Chapala area. Today I am in Guadalajara tomorrow I will be in Guanajuato. The cathedral de Guadalajara in the central part of the city is in the background. This a great part of the city to walk around in and there are good restaurants everywhere. Really good street stands for food too. Stuff is cheap here and the people are friendly. Life is good.

police states ,,,,

are we now living in a world controlled by a rogue army of police that make the rules up as they go along ,,
why do i ask ,well it appears that peoples beliefs are being tossed aside by this virus , not that i am a believer in any religion ,but in saying that ,those that do believe in what ever they wish too ,should be free to do so with out the interference by the police,
this happened on good friday in briton where by a service was stopped by the police on the grounds of social distancing ,,first of all these officers were stood less than a metre apart ,,thats taking the urine for starters ,secondly heaven if there is such a place it is not two metres away ,,,so sadly people you have to do your praying at home ,,,because there is a new god in town called the police ,,,,amen adios chow or what ever ,,it is goodbye freedom ,,,

Happy as a Pig in Palestine

Returned a few days ago from Canada where I met a fantastic lady.

Thanks for putting up with me for those few days.
Enjoyed myself thoroughly.

Hope everything will go as planned for the big day here, exactly a year from now, in SA.

Validity of Freewill

Freewill can be considered one's choices they want to make.

What happens when you don't have any choices or no resources to implement them?
