She came to do nails and got nailed.....by an alligator.

Some think of alligators as a Florida animal.
But the truth is, that several southern US states have them.
Wherever they, or crocodiles exist, extreme caution & distance is advised.
They are quite smart, like a puma and will look for patterns in behavior
and wait at the most vulnerable point in the victims routine.
For instance they've been known to wait under cars, or at the water's edge.
They can run faster than a horse for the first 100 yards.
They have a very powerful tail and strong jaws, when they chomp down.
They will remain motionless until the victim is close enough.
They can jump out of water up to 12 feet high.
If near water, they very quickly grab the victim, pull it into the water and spin, known as a "death roll".
That spin breaks skin & bones and disorients the victim in the murky water
as to which way is up.
Then, they can hold their breath under water a lot longer than most mammals.
After you have drowned, they will stash your body under a fallen tree or branches
within the water and rip off pieces of your body to feed off for days.

Most people in the area know to keep their distance.
But, whether it's a virus, or a predator, some, who refuse social distancing, make it too easy.

girls just want to have fun

SINGLE BLACK FEMALE seeks male companionship, ethnicity unimportant. I'm a very good girl who LOVES to play.

I love long walks in the woods, riding in your pickup truck, hunting, camping and fishing trips, cozy winter nights lying by the fire.

Candlelight dinners will have me eating out of your hand. I'll be at the front door when you get home from work, wearing only what nature gave me.. Call 01637 881455 and ask for Annie, I'll be waiting.

Flying under the influence....

.....a type of wax wing in Texas was observed to have been a little erratic (erotic?) on the wing. Crashing into windows and into each other.
The rumor is that they gorge on fermenting berries (climate change?). Three carbon fragments in abundance. Stuffing themselves until the fall. And when back in the air, look as I did in the first weeks of flight training.
But these reports and explanation come from hornythologists. Could they really know about wax wings falling off the wagon?

Moved in with the neighbor

I took you in when you were starving, gave you a home and put food on the table. When you were sick and injured I comforted you and paid your medical bills, I even got you a passport.

We had some good years together with lots of caresses and cuddles and even though at times you took up most of the room on the bed I didnt mind.

When you started spending the odd night away, I understood, when you disappeared for days at a time I was never concerned until the day about a year ago when you didnt return home, I was fraught with worry.

Then last night when I saw you on the corner of the street, I stopped the car and called your name, but you walked away from me. As you stood before the door waiting to be let in we chatted and I caressed you. I was pleased to see you looked healthy and well fed. Drop by the house sometime I said, we all miss you my dear cat Paco.

Euthanasia...

I received a call today from a woman who introduced herself as one of the veterinarians at the animal clinic where I surrendered a homeless cat yesterday. She asked if I knew about the history of the animal and the only information I could offer was, a week ago the cat showed up in the courtyard of my building and neighbors were feeding her. The cat was quiet and very friendly but homeless. The reason for me delivering the cat to their facility was to keep my neighbors out of trouble for violating the association rules for feeding strays.
The vet went on to explain the cat was in pain having enlarged lymph nodes and lumps in her intestines. Most of her teeth were missing and several teeth were infected into the gums.
At that point I asked "Are we talking about the same cat?"
She described the animal and stated the her condition with all the problems it wouldn't be long for the cat to live and the most humane thing to do is euthanize her so she doesn't have to suffer.

I tried several no-kill pet adoption places and this was the only place in 50 miles or so that would take the cat in for spaying, shots and microchip. To hear they had to put the cat down came as a total surprise... and not a good one.

So ended my Happy-Friday and a full moon on a clear night.

Goodbye Freya...

If you live in the coastal area of Norway, you may have seen Freya, a 1,300 pound walrus.
Freya became an icon for both good and bad as this walrus had climbed on back of some boats to sunbathe and sank a few.
It was determined that sightseers were getting too close and it was feared an endangerment for people, so as a "last resort," spokesman for the Directorate of Fisheries Vegard Oen Hatten said they had to put the animal down.

Are You A Dog Person or Cat Person?

Are there more dogs alive than cats? I know everyone seems to favor one or the other. Cats or dogs. Many people often have one or two of each. So, are you an animal lover? What is your favorite if you had to chose?

Lastly, I admit I am The Crazy Cat Lady. I only have one cat, but she makes me crazy! Do you have a preference be it either dogs or cats? Why? Is it because cats are so Purrrrrrfect! or Love our dogs because they are so Dogon cute? grin teddybear Bears count too! rolling on the floor laughing dunno

Whats the worse thing

you ever said to your pet, be it a cat dog or even a goldfish.
Let us know and give us a giggle.
The reason why I ask is; I was in the processes of teaching my dog to shake hands or give me five, she did exceptionally well and I found myself saying "Who's your Daddy" laugh

I hear its the best thing to say when teaching your b*tch new tricks ! doh

laugh

Have a good day people wine
